Been to get new script glasses and I look like an owl. Vision is fishbowly too. I don't like it.

Roamed the charity shops and found that big heavy plant finder book, costs ?25 got it for ?3.50. Don't all yay at once, I was chuffed though, been wanting it for years.

Good to hear. Chronic conditions and gp's don't mix. But then I'm biased.

Clicked on first army thread to find it was full of spam. It has to be viral as no one is getting anything from it. This site worries me in that respect, unsecure.

I ended up with 'versatile' glasses. Think I've been sold a pup. Stupid things.

Btw, I haven't seen anything you've posted that hasn't looked considered and thoughtful to the receiving poster. Never 'you should/nt' 'you must/nt'. Instead, Suggestions of what may help or what you found helpful, a viewpoint that makes you think from a different angle.

Versatile is what boots calls them. Lower part reading, upper part mid distance rather than long distance. Arms length type mid distance. Computer type distance.

Really I should have had varifocals but it didn't want to have to wear glasses all the time. Had only reading glasses before. Thing is they're on my nose all the time anyway.

A virus can get into unsecured sites and run around causing trouble. Like your computer has firewalls and virus protection, so should the sites you visit. Protection at your end and theirs.

I mentioned my email getting loads of junk yesterday, they could have come because this site has that email addy. Could be coincidence. But email is all they can get from me, no other info given, my password is only used on this site as well, no other.

All in all, pretty harmless (I hope!) and annoying, but doesn't inspire confidence.


Or, I could be completely wrong and probably wrong on some parts anyway. I've learned about computering by blundering around and clicking on things. Not qualified at all.
