Satz-:happy::yay::wd::kudos: on 1 year and 2 days AF!!!!

Molly-I just wanted to add something about your dentist's comment about "numbing" yourself. I was not honest at all with my doctor or my dentist regarding my drinking problem, for fear that they would think I was too high risk for meds if I really needed them, given the addiction factor. Maybe this is what your dentist thought? There is such a stigma about AL addiction still, and I fought hard to protect my secret, especially from people at work. Even though I am sober now, I have not confided in anyone at work that I'm sober, for fear that if I am genuinely ill one day, they will automatically think I am lying, and that I have fallen off the wagon. I am glad you set your dentist straight. I hope he learned something.

He's already had his birthday pressie from me. I got him a wind up/solar radio for when we go up to the caravan.

The kids have got him something that plugs into the TV and you can get 3 squilllion channels for nothing. Its not satellite or cable or anything like that.............tbh when the S&H told me how it worked it sort of went in one ear and out of the other.

Had a read-back, but cannot remember a thing: Molly and Joe are celebrating separately, Mr JC got a wind-up remote for his TV's birthday, Rox is not a threatening killer, Anon has got a kit hen - that is brilliant news, Sweety has run off to work and Tips is off his feed, Sugarbabes and Rusty did a surprise inspection and Molly's dentist is a cheapskate. That it? Missed anything of importance?

Anon, really glad to hear you've a functioning kit hen again.
