Glass Half Empty;1679550 wrote: Thanks sweetie - that's really kind of you. And hugs for the lovely Raggsy who's always such a rock! I'm going to try and get some sleep soon.

And now I'm going to end the day with something really positive. So...one of the people who'll be on my little red boat trip to Antarctica in Feb is a lady called Steph who's circumnavigating the world solo on a motorbike, and we're taking her and her bike there so she can do the 7th continent. Yesterday I caught up with Cath again (the owner/skipper) of the LRB (aka AntarctiCath), and since then I've been Facebook chatting with Steph who's just about to ride through the Himalayas. Anyway, I think she'll be swinging past this way as part of her journey before the LRB trip which will be nice, but OMG - these women are just totally awe inspiring! I feel absolutely privileged just to spend time with them. :h
Glassy you ARE one of those inspiring women!

I don't mean to piss anyone off with my episodes. They are part of my problem which is called borderline personality disorder.

Unfortunately my "threats" of self harm are usually followed through by cutting and overdosing.
You may well have little patience for such behaviour. Yes i recognise the selfishness of it.
Without me being able to vent a bit here, it remains bottled up.
Don't leave the drawer on my account.

        :hallo: UNDIES!

I just HAVE to share one of your exports: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8_rvtJWB6xE[/video]]Melbourne Ska Orchestra

BEST show I've seen in ages! They were performing at the Northern Lights Festival Bor?al - could easily have been the main header. Most of the audience on their feet and off their seats! And here I thought, I had done my cardio in the morning.. Wrong :H

Anyways... if you get a chance to see them... DO IT! Almost like musical theatre.. incredible show.

        As you were mates...
Okay, WHO put a stop payment on my reality check?

        Winning since October 24th, 2013

              Good afternoon Corrie,
It must be very stressful for you having your condition and it being so difficult for you to try to control,
not knowing when an episode is going to strike or how overwhelming it is for you.
What alarmed and stressed Glassy was that she was the only person who just happened to be on line at 3 am, saw your post, assumed you'rd overdosed and were possibly dying.
Not having any idea as to your identity or phone number she felt helpless to be able to get assistance to you.
This created a flurry of phone calls round the country to try to get in contact with you to see if you were OK.
It left Glassy fairly emotionally exhausted as she took on the responsibility for your post.
As a result, she was thinking the worst and was almost frantic trying to see how she could get assistance to you.
A couple of us now have your phone number so if something happens to you please answer your phone if it rings.
It could well be an Undie checking to see you are OK.

Thanks ragsy. I spoke with glassy and i really didn't intend to cause distress. If the situation were reversed I can see how upsetting it would be for her, and panny. Such caring ladies.

It is a scary place. Sitting on the fucking floor close to the front door where I can barely get Internet, a syringe loaded with fucking horse sedative and a good foot vein, with a savage cold clinical bitch inside your head saying "Do It". And I'm crying full on and trying to stop that voice, trying to like myself enough to stop, trying to find a positive in there, this horrible internal dialogue. And the cold clinical part beats all reasoning. And there's no one else I can turn to. Rural Link suck. I'm geographically, mentally and emotionally alone.
Funnily enough, being able to come on here to get some comforting words has saved me. Which I thought was good. I never realised that my posts would be " the Undie who cried Wolf". Obviously I was wrong.

                    Hi Corrie,
Not so much a matter of crying wolf,
but when you feel an episode starting up, you getting on the phone to someone (parents perhaps?)
to let them know you are going down, so someone can be with you and give you
a bit of comfort and a hug.

Corri I'm just glad you're ok. I feel for you dealing with this & feeling isolated. We take it very seriously, the thought of losing you is terrible.
When do you see Greg next? Does he know about these episodes? Does it mainly happen when you drink or can strike anytime?

Would a change of where you're living help?
Oakford sounds good, not far from the big city and you love equine work.
                            Could be the go.

Cori I hope you understand that we?re only upset because we care for you. I wasn?t pissed off, I was bl**dy frightened! I would have been devastated if you killed yourself and afterwards I thought of something I could have done that didn?t occur to my befuddled 3am insomniac brain. I was in a dilemma because I didn?t know how much time I had, and the only way I could think of to check you were OK was to call the police and ask them to try and track you through your ISP which would have been a huge breach of everyone?s privacy if you were OK. Anyway, ?nuff said from me on the topic. :l

I notice they are performing in Forster, but not in the Gong..... cultural and culinary wasteland....
