They're as useless as an ashtray on a fecking motor bike. Just gets you used to having a strap thingo across yer back and feeling like a trussed up boiler chook. If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

Well apparently the 'buddy/block' list is a casualty of recent economical measures:H
Maybe we should kick the can to reinstate it?
Anyway, I'm enjoying this a little bit too much, so I'm off for a shower and to the pit with me.If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

Bloody greedy powermongers Reg. I see the same principles and behaviour displayed in my workplace in the humble suburbs of Melbourne. We must kick against the pricks any way we can. Of course, the system has lot's of folk in debt and slaves to a full time job to keep things ticking over. Not much time left over after family duties and unwinding for revolution. I'd love to see more young people really take the bull by the horns.

Morning all,
Above post doesn't refer to Kelly,P. or the ABC. It's in response to a deleted post. lol.
Just checking out the Port phillip webcam. The bay is so still. Grey skies and cool temps. One or two boofheads putting around enjoying the calm. That boat must be a real sanity saver Reg. I love yer older timber decking style yacht. There's a great looking project awaiting someone at St.kilda marina in the form of a weather beaten old yacht with fusked wooden deck and cabin crying out, no, screaming out for a good sanding and varnish. It floats well enough but i'd imagine you'd need to haul her out of the water and get rid of the years of barnacles etc. Another bloke had a boat in similar weathered condition on the slips at St.kilda yacht club for months. I'd see him some days with his electric sander out, welder, and a cup of tea, taking his time hanging out on deck soaking up the ambience of his vessels possibilities, the actual work on his boat being secondary. Sailing is a form of mindfulness you know. Bloody marvellous.
Have a pearler out there.

So hop in the UTE and nip over to Camden where we had a nice walk then decided to
go to Cataract Dam for our BBQ. There was no wind so no kite flying.
On the way stopped at this rather historic monument. Wonder how many other western
countries don't care about their history.
Shame Mr Abbot. Spend 2 bob to get this fixed.
Arrived at Cataract and only a couple of other people there.......
until the Mazda I'm pretending to be a sports car club arrived. They went up the other end but.
The teddies had thought to bring along some bird seed with them. The rosellas were happy.
Tha maggies had to do with a couple of bits of sausage.
Still no wind to fly our kites.
Then, on the way home, we came across grove after grove of magnificent Doryanthes... all in full flower very early. Probably confused with the flukey weather.
The end.
Off to physio. See you later.
