    Jumping July

    Who believes in coincidence?
Went to Kiama this morning and called in at the butcher I used to go to.
Who walked in after me but I friend I haven't seen for 2 years.
We chat for a bit and find out he and his wife will be in Seminyak next week for a week!
We're going to arrange lunch or dinner or something together.
All because I wanted some chops for dinner.
It will be wonderful to catch up with each other.
    How cool is that?

No one interested any more in MC?

        Arvo Undies,

Wow Raggsy - what a lovely coincidence. Not many sleeps to go before you're winging your way. I really didn't get into MC much at all this time around. Might have something to do with my general disinterest in food which I'm sure is just a temporary state. I certainly hope so anyway.

Those bridesmaids dresses are just so, errrrm, so ... how do you say? ....

Thanks for the feedback on Chromie, Ovaries. I really hope he is well.

Cold, wet and icky down here.

Those dresses are in the flamenco style non?
I'm looking at the trees in the background bowing in the prevailing wind
and wondering if the little ones are warm enough.

            Talking of not many sleeps...
Tawny, you were planning on going to Bali in August some time
to get away from the cold?
            Still thinking of going?
It could be the big break you need.

I'm looking at the bridal cars in the background. Yep, they're going to need a convoy to transport that much flounce. I'd love to see the bride and groom's sartorial offerings.

Raggsy - I had planned on going to the place Missy stayed at but just couldn't commit to a date. The head was all over the place. I might just concentrate on riding out the last month of winter and then maybe plan something bigger and longer.

                  That sounds wonderful Tawn,
keep us abreast of your plans.
I'm not taking computer with me, so won't be sending back
holiday pics till I get back.
Speaking of which, Glassy should be heading back just before I leave.

Happy, how are you going after your latest chemo?

Speaking of Tippy, I knew Mrs Tippy wasn't all that well,
but gee, he's been off air for a bit.

Latest chemo is sucky but hopefully I'll come good soon, thanks for asking Rags.

Been thinking about some foodie places around Seminyak for you, heres a couple:

Biku - does high tea - $20 au for a couple brilliant whether you do the Indonesian version or the classic. Their chai is beautiful.

Ku de Ta or La Lucciola - both of these are on the beach and perfect at sunset. Nothing like watching a sunset over the beach. We were at La Lucciola more nights than not.

                      Sarong is gorgeous. Exy though.

Potato Head - amazing building beachside pool and bar. Perfect for sunset drinks too. Minimum spend of 500,000 Rp for poolside position. The W is good for this the pool/food combo too.

The Deck - we lobbed in here on our first night, its family friendly dining where you can play a game of pool too, the meals are very Aussie

Grocer & Grind - Deli items, dine in and takeaway. Do great cakes and if you just feel like a simple salad or milkshake this is an easy option.

It is not what we do, but how much love we put into the doing.
