    Actually, I also bought some steak at the wonderful Rosebank buthchers, and am going to try Julie's stroganoff recipe.
    It sounds so tasty and has great ingredients in it that I just wouldn't have thought of. I shall give you a ll a report, and if it's good I'll rub her name off and include it in the cookbook.... which will come out by Christmas. Promoise.

          Been thinking about some foodie places around Seminyak for you, heres a couple:

          Biku - does high tea - $20 au for a couple brilliant whether you do the Indonesian version or the classic. Their chai is beautiful.

          Ku de Ta or La Lucciola - both of these are on the beach and perfect at sunset. Nothing like watching a sunset over the beach. We were at La Lucciola more nights than not.

          Sarong is gorgeous. Exy though.

          Potato Head - amazing building beachside pool and bar. Perfect for sunset drinks too. Minimum spend of 500,000 Rp for poolside position. The W is good for this the pool/food combo too.

          The Deck - we lobbed in here on our first night, its family friendly dining where you can play a game of pool too, the meals are very Aussie

          Grocer & Grind - Deli items, dine in and takeaway. Do great cakes and if you just feel like a simple salad or milkshake this is an easy option.

          I've heard great reports about Ku De Ta and would like us to go there.

          Gee it looks like we're spoilt for choice with all those places!

          Gee Happs, we get to Seminyak about 3 pm on Friday, then are leaving on the Sunday to go up to Ubud. We'll never get through them all..... I can feel a second trip in the future for us to get through all the restaurants......

          Potato Head... just the name has me wanting to go there, what did you get for your $50 ?
          See, I've learnt already to just take off 4 zeros to get the dollar amount.

          Does the nausea ease off at all with the chemo as in your body gets used to it or does it really get you every time? If only there was a way to home in on those shitty cancer cells without the chemo going through your whole body.

                    Last week I asked him which 2 teddies did he want to take with him and he said all of them and I said oh darling mr rags, there won't be room and he said yes there will they can all fit in the back of the ute and i said oh darling mr rags if we took the ute we'd only just get there and then have to turn around and come back, no, we are flying light of my life and he said oh, i thought we were driving ......
                    He never really goes on computer except to look at BOM. but I've been madly deleting all my booking emails.

                        And just before I go,
                        I made contact last week with one of the guys who lived opposite us at Womnbarra who moved to Bali 20 years ago.... haven't seen him since 1993!!!! He lives between Seminyak and Ubud and he emailed me his phone number. Mr Rags will be so happy to catch yup with him
                        And I am enjoying all this clandestine planning for him.
                        Just want him to relax and have a bloody good time.
                        Also going to see about doing a cooking class or 2 in Ubud. Thinking maybe we do separate classes... more bang for our buck.
