          Mama, that's what I'm saying!!

My under eyes are all puffy with fluid. It's dissipating now though. Idk what that was.
I went to see my friend that's been having so many problems (like I'm one to talk) but she put me off again saying she has to go to the jail and pick up her jewelry, and all these other excuses. So I guess I'm not going there today.
I washed my car and got all the cigarettes out and lighters out.
          Patch goes on tomorrow morning!
          Did grocery shopping.
House is a mess. I'm just not a good housekeeper. I wish I had the housekeeping gene instead of the alcoholic gene.
I'm going to make a list and stick to it for the next few days and get things in ship shape!
          Day 1 again 11/5/19
          Goal 1: 7 days :heartbeat:
          Goal 2: 14 days :happy2:
          Goal 3: 21 days :happy2:
11/27/19: messed up but back on track
12/14/19: bad doozy but back on track

          One day at a time.

One Step at a Time - July 2014

            I'm back.......woohoo....
The trip was better than I had expected and nothing like I had built up in my head,
Flights out were OK, small plane but uneventful.
We arrived at the hotel and it was a nice little suite and there was a bunch of yellow carnations, bowl of fruit and some starbucks coffee on the table when we walked in the room. Dh called the desk and they said his son had brought them....well that started things off on the right foot.
We vistied a little before the ceremony and all the fellows were in dress uiforms and there was a fellow who moderated and introduced everyone. I was introduced as dads wife but that was OK with me. He gave all the "moms" a bouquet of flowers and I got one too. I about fell out of my shoes. He has never considered my part of the family so maybe after 29 years he finally gets it and he told me that he knew I made his dad happy and he was thankful for that. Who is this fellow and what have they done with the old crabby one...sons wife is still a snob but my interaction with her was limited since she has finally gone back to work full time. I did hit it off with her mother. She is living with them now and it is hard to believe that they are related. We plan to stay in touch.
Maybe we will drive up next spring but that is TBD......
            Now on to laundry.....

Thank you mama, that means a lot!

Welcome back Dottie! Don't you hate the vacation laundry. I just finishing ironing my sons shirts. Yeah like ironing his shirts makes up for the drinking.

I here you nursie, I wish I had the "proper" genes too. My newlywed daughter runs circles around me. Wonder where she gets it from? Probably her dad. He's over there now hanging lights and curtain rods. Such a good man I got me!

Reccie, Poppy's urine being normal is a really good sign. Usually, kitties with kidney disease have very dilute urine. :h

K9, so glad to see you!

Zenny, thinking of you. Dental stuff sucks so much! :h

Dottie, I am so glad things went well.

                        Hey Fen!
Just sitting down and zonked . Super stressed at work. I think Bri is going to be put on bed rest and I am not ready for that just yet. I will manage. I am not drinking, just feeling overwhelmed.
                        Netflix and zone out time.

                            Hello, hello.....

Tried to get on earlier but kept getting interrupted at work. Reccie - great idea to type it up in a different screen/format in case the site goes down.
I've done the same thing a few times but I need to get in the habit.

Zen - hope you survived the dental work. Yep - my front tooth is discolored on the top and I have a toothy smile. So, it needs to be fixed but I am NOT looking forward to a root canal & crown on my front tooth. :upset:

EW - great to see you!!!

Dottie - I am so glad that your trip was better than you thought it would be. :l

Nursie - hang in there. :h

K9 - can't wait to have you posting again!!!!!

And to all the Steppers - Great big hugs and lots of love. It's in the 90's here and I really need to look at window AC units. We don't even have the above ground pool this year. :upset: I finally told my son - "how old are you??" He said "27" I said and "don't you realize that I get irritable when I'm too hot??" :H
