            Morning all,
Ceremony was lovely and touching. I will give all the details when I have a real keyboard.
We leave for home tomorrow and pick up the doggies on Thursday.
Trip has been better than I hoped.
            I will read back later.

YAY Dots. You needed some "nice" time
Fenny - I had no idea you were an artist!! I remember you painting a tree on the wall at the cabin, but that 's it. how awesome!! How is your Mom, btw?
Work is busy, busy, but quiet. Bri has done a complete 360 and I will enjoy it while it lasts.
The site was "normal" for me all day yesterday....weird...
              HEY NORA!!
Kradle - sounds like you needed rest. Emotional stuff, especially with our kids....
I texted K9 but have not heard back from her.....
oh...there was a fire at the property last night...nothing major, but some damage. We think it was caused by a smoldering cigarette. At least I didn't have to race out in the middle of the night.
I love my family more than alcohol.:h

Good lord, mama. I agree, at least you didn't have to go out there last night. Compared to some of the other adventures there, this one was pretty tame.

Thanks for asking about my mom. I'm still taking her to her pulmonary work out classes, but they are dropping down to once a week. Still, I am going to take her walking to the mall, plus get her one of those bicycle pedal thingies you can do while watching t.v., plus some little weights for her to lift. The whole idea behind the class is to keep the muscles in shape so that the oxygen in her system is used more efficiently.

She's hanging in there. Still sad about her sis passing away.

                    Morning/afternoon!

Glad to hear your trip is going so well dots.

Zenny, I'm exactly the same as you with not being able to concentrate on work stuff when another person is in the room. Don't think we would do very well in those large open plan offices a lot of companies seem to favour nowadays.

How is your back today, mama? My sympathies on the heavy workload, it can be really tough coming back from vacation sometimes.

It must be dead handy having a treadmill in the basement fenny. Do you have other equipment to use for workouts as well as the treadmill? I didn't realise you were an artist. I'm full of admiration for anyone with any kind of artistic talent as I have none whatsoever. Such a shame your drawing was ruined like that. :upset:

Nora, I have no idea what getting popped at the chiropractor involves, but I really hope it was a positive experience! :H Hope you enjoy your musical.

                    :hallo: nurdl and kradle

I see one or two folks were having problems posting yesterday. Didn't the same thing happen around the same time the previous Monday?

Glad the fire wasn't too serious mama.

Does your mum have problems with her lungs fenny? I think you mentioned something about an oxygen cylinder the other day.

Zenny, you can get a standard uk pay as you go SIM card for a penny which should work if your phone is unlocked:

                          http://www.amazon.co.uk/Orange-Pay-Y...ayg+sim+orange

Then you could use one of the many cheap international calling services such as this one:

Cheap Calls to USA | Cheap International Calls | JustCall (UK)

Or you could get a global SIM card, something like this:

                          https://www.worldsim.com/international-sim-card/

Useful article (even if it is written from a uk perspective):

Beloved Mr.Bear - you are a font of information today!! How's Poppy??
Nana is a rock star Fenster. She's amazing. She ADORES the cat we got her and Sunday night she was looking at travel brochures for elderly groups. No serious health issues yet, thank heavens.
Glad you are keeping your Mom active. My SIL printed a load of old pictures of Pop at all ages and we have enjoyed them. Maybe your Mom would like the same thing of her sister??
One rainy afternoon last week, I dragged Bret into town to look for some type of monument to put at the lake house in memory of Pop. I found a concrete armadillo on his back holding a beer bottle....that didn't seem quite appropriate, so I 'll keep looking. (Pop would have loved it):H
I love my family more than alcohol.:h

Thanks to everyone for all the good wishes for poppy. No news to report from the vet as yet.

Zenny, you asked about pet insurance. It's very much a personal choice, but if you think you would have difficulty finding a few or maybe even several thousand dollars if one of your furballs required surgery or other expensive treatment then it might not be a bad idea. Having said that, you may feel that the likelihood of them needing expensive treatment is comparatively low, given that they don't go out and you feed them a very healthy diet. FWIW, amy is insured but poppy isn't and I made that decision based on their different personalities and the likelihood of them acquiring self-inflicted injuries.
