Good morning Troopers.

Yep was proper poorly yesterday and took to my bed covered in Vicks vapour rub and clutching my hankie.

Not sure if croissants are a healthy brekkie but I :h them.




Today is going to be a bitter sweet day. Its a year today since my favourtist Uncle in all the world died and the family are all going out for lunch.............bet there'll be plenty of tears and a lot more laughter.
One thing this past year has shown me is I am so glad that he was part of my life.

Unable to get excited about online shopping - much as I hate 3D shopping - I do want that tactile experience.

Molly, can you do something like simple lunch? Yours always sound so exciting, so what's on the menu today? Bitterly cold here - so thinking of a really hot - as in strong - curry.

No - not that brave yet.
I did wear a kinda small black & white checky pair the other day -Mr S wanted to know was I working in the kitchen :H:H
I have some MAD patterned ones for casual wear t home.

Was out & about yesterday -ALL the 'ol wans had them on.:l
They are very flattering for the 'ol belly etc I think !!1

JC i hope all goes well with the lunch meet up. as you said, it will be tears and laughter. remembering what they gave to you in their lifetime, and you to theirs, the sadness that they are no longer around to share that. it will be an emotional day :l

also, big congrats on your sober anniversary!! yes, i cant remember how long now im typing this 5 years?:blush:

I love that Roxxy, saw it on FB yesterday...........you'll never guess what my uncle's name is.:H

Much mucho better.............amazing what the promise of roast beef and Yorkshire pudding can do down at the local..........hands up who thinks I'll have to say at least 3 times that I do not want ice in my water.

Have to say I bought some lovely pale blue trousers to go with a pale blue top. Put a long sleeved white t-shirt underneath...............problem was I passed a shop window and tbh looked like a theatre nurse................back to the drawing board.

i hate ice in my water too, those ice machines dont get cleaned often enough, if at all.
