The summer is coming in and while I could not be described as a big woman ,the weight I gain from drinking seems to accumulate around my middle! So its day 1 again for me and my goal is a nice slim waist and a healthy body by july 1st! Wish me luck!Tags: None

on a mission to get my waist back!
Good morning Limers and Roxane,
It would be hard to tell if I have a wine waist because I am 30 pounds overweight. Thanks in part to thyroid disease and in part to too many food and alcohol calories. I love to work out though; that has never been a problem. Maybe I can send some of my workout passion your way and you can send me some caloric self control!
Hope everyone is doing well today.

Good Luck Limers on your weightloss, Alcohol is known for putting weight on our stomachs... Keep us posted.. Find some healthy lowfat, low calorie snacks for inbetween meals and drinks lots of water. Your last snack should be 2 hours before bed... Let your body repair itself instead of digesting food.... ~Niblet~

Well I'm 22 day AF now and I've dropped 8 pounds, so it works! I think I might actually put on a bathing suit this summer and go swimming at the lake. I did that once last year with my son and his very skinny girlfriend and was trying to pull myself onto this float and was so pudgy, wobbly and fat and I could tell my poor son was so embarrassed by me. Not to mention I was drunk every day they were here visiting me from Europe. I cringe at the memory.

I can't wait to lose the chubs! I just figured out thanks to another thread that part of my weight gain is due to the antidepressant I'm on. So I'll be withdrawing from that as well as wine and beer. Last night I was going through the closet and was inspired by all the skinny clothes I've been holding on to.
Do you tnink I can lose 70 pounds by August?
:-)Hugs,
imatree
