Man these guys are retarded- I start next Tuesday June 5th for a month and then because it is freelance they'll want to see how things are going. I am fine with that.

There's no way the work they want me to do will be done in a month- So I feel better today even though they were never interviewing anyone else or else they never would have gotten back to me so fast today. Tards.

I am so gald it worked out Camper!! I missed your post yesterday & just reread them. As I am a consultant I experience things like this too.

I don't think you f--ed up not getting it in writing. Sometimes the culture is not fomal enought for that. And I think you are absolutely right, they panicked when they got your email from Friday about the money Q. Someone thought & said "well I guess we may have to interview others now" "Well tell her that"..Yes it was a scare tactic.

I have a 3 month contract right now with about 6 months of work...my manager told me he had to do it like that to get started ..and this was for people I have worked for 2 yrs...so it was something political ..his new VP wasn't sure or budget was not approved yet or some crap like that..

Sounds like you are fine & you will like it there & therefore your work will be quality & they will keep renewing!!!!! Hooray!!
