    Army thread last Tuesday in July

    Just remembered I'm supposed to be studying.........first assignment in next week........luckily as its the first one they make it easy.
    It could be worse, I could be filing.

      We had to do 2 years of HE in high school - lots of theory and cooking and sewing and knitting and I can't remember what else - never paid any attention; have for my sins had to edit a shedload of HE text books since! No lentils, as far as I can remember, but there was the time I tried to make pan cakes when the stove was not plugged in. I was not the star pupil.
      14 October 2013 was the first day of the best days of my life!

            Never did Home Ec -- it was at the same time as music
            Now then........my aged Aunt got her degree when she was 70.........Art or History of Art can't remember which. She was a Head teacher for donkey's years but came through teacher training college not Uni so always felt she'd misses out on Uni.........so she went back.

                Not really.........she is a hell of an artist............just think she just stood in the playground and her old school and went naa naa na naaaaa naa waving her mortar board and hat.
