      Just got a phone call from my mate down the road, who has just seen Mr Rags in a professional capacity.
      He rang me to tell me that Mr Rags has figured out where we're going.
      MR RAGS:
      "Yeah, I've thought about it and thought about it and I thought,
      Cairns? No.
      Pt Douglas, maybe but probably not.
      Then I thought, Whitsundays.
      Yep, that's it, the Whitsundays."
      "She loves the Whits and is taking me there. "
      "I'll keep up the pretence though and pretend it's a surprise"

      MY MATE      :
      "Yeah, you do that mate, it'll keep her happy"
      "Geez, Dr Rags, there's no pulling the wool over your eyes is there" (snigger).

      As soon as he got home he just had to ring me and tell me.

              Tawny almost froze out in the frost the other morning.

              Techie has been teasing by popping in and out at random.

              We've lost Aspy......can't seem to find him anywhere.

              That's all I can quickly remember.

                      Thanks for the lovely welcome home Rags and Nicey.

                      I'm so glad I caught you before you left Raggsy. I knew your trip was coming up very soon but didn't realise it was so close!

                      I'm not sure I have the words I need to describe the experiences of the last few weeks, but I'll go with amazing, breathtaking and awe-inspiring for now. I also didn't realise how much I needed to just get away from things here and have some time to think.

                      It's roolly nice to be home, but. I'm going to spend the rest of the day drinking tap water and flushing toilet paper, just because I can!

                                The kookas have me twisted round their little talons. :H
                                I have a couple of friends staying over the weekend and I've frozen some pre cut kooka food for them to feed to them.
                                The bloody currawongs are around in huge numbers at the moment... about 40 of them.... waiting for breeding season so they can eat eggs and hatchlings. I hate them.
                                The spinebills are at the grevilleas, and I've put out some marital aids for the bower bird.
                                Topped up the water in the little pond, have cleaned the bathroom and vacced the floors.
                                Ready to go!!!!!
