Ahh well....at least I wasn't pissed and I could do it...right?
Bought a very nice pork roast at the market yesterday and have decided to have an impromptu dinner ...... my niece and her daughter are coming back from Byron Bay where they have seen my nephew/her husband off to ride across Australia - from there to Perth as a fundraising thing for SIDS. So will spend the day in the kitchenNever give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn

Arvo all sweet and wonderful people,
Regginald - I'm flattered ... I throb The Heart is a Lonely Hunter ... time for a re-read I think, it's been years.
Missy - you still in the kitchen?
An uneventful day here - took myself off to the pub for some lunch as they have a nice open fire in one of the little lounges, read the weekend Australian, ate half a hamburger with chips and came home again. Hardly worth getting frocked up for but it was an Outing. Note to self: You must go out more often.

Quiet day today here too. I visited my parents on the Sunny Coast yesterday and stayed over.
I've been desperately dosing my self up with anything and everything that will get me better for work tomorrow but still can't stop coughing and have a badly blocked ear.

I didn't come this far to only come this far.

Good on you Tawny. Although I have to say that the analysis of what is going on in the Middle East in the SundAy papers was not as good as the analysis in the Australian women's weekly.
Have left the kitchen to pick up niece and great niece from airport ..... Plane is late so now roast pork will be dry :-)
However we have cake :HNever give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn

Evening Undies...I've posted a few times and been bumped off but in a nutshell...
Be sick Glassy and don't give a rats arse about work.
I want pork for dinner now Missy but the Lamp is making quiche. He is a real man though.
TF my favourite outing seems to be going to Woolies but I too Will get Out more often.
New chemo regime starts this week, so will see what these drugs bring. Apparently I've done the hard stuff so the rest is just coping with side and long term effects. I shall remain sparkly

Hello friends. I will post a few pics from BiG adventure. I only have a few as hike turned into a disaster of sorts. We went off trail (a no no) and lost our bearing. Our friend Rich was not feeling well and exhibited signs of heat exhaustion. It was 96f and we were at just under 8000 feet in elevation. So our 8 mile hike turned into a 12 mile hike with very steep climbs. I may lose another toenail. My podiatrist loves me. Rich recovered after I had him use my bio-salts. Scary stuff and after all the medical stuff I've been through I think I will take a break from hiking for a few weeks. BTW, I have a 7:07am tee time tomorrow
Love you all!Outside of a dog a book is mans best friend. Inside of a dog its too dark to read
