Reg ..... I have to stay that I am astonished at the number of people here who send their kids to Catholic schools.

And I don't know whether it is a NSW thing; or whether it is a "private school" ("elective school"?) thing.

I had a catholic education through all my school years, because that was essential to my parents. Today I am grateful because it gave me a strong sense of values, but in my last 2 years of school we learned a lot about other religions. It taught me a great deal of tolerance but also critical thinking - as in "why do we think that any particular religion is the only faith"? Hence I have become a person that believes that spirituality is an important part of being human; but that that can be expressed in any number of ways. But I prefer those ways that are inclusive and accepting rather than rule bound and fundamentalist!!

I'm off to meet up with the owner of the LRB to have a final catchup before she leaves for the southern season.

How is everyone today? Happs are you still feeling ok, lovey?

Hi Undies. As some of you may know I am a published author. Nothing BIG, but I do travel in the self help self improvement genre. An editor friend of ours (V & me) mentioned there was a manuscript out there with the name Techie on it. Not published but looking for traction. Techie is also an email identifier associated with me. She said it was about folks that broke through addiction to alcohol and changed their lives. It also mentioned screen names that are somewhat like ours and others. I have nothing to hide so I've asked my lawyer to look into this and get back to me. I'll keep you all posted. My lawyer assured me she will find the source. I do NOT think we have any personal liability issues here but thought I should share.
