    August Undies

Well, I know I'm not around much, just a few times a year at the moment, But I thought Missys post was BEAUTIFUL and so true. I remember showing up on the Undies doorstep looking like a drowned rat, and I was welcomed with open arms. It was a saving grace, and the only reason I made it to the part where I now have a family. The Undies should always be, even if we come and go. It's a bright light in the middle of a very dark and dreary forest. So if you need to have a retreat or rest do so, but don't disappear.

    I love the pic TF.
    I love the thread HP.
Missy, congrats to your and the Mr.
Rags have a blast on your trip.
    Reg, Gster, Techie, hugs.

Nicey, someone told me last month was going to be a month where we should all watch our step, and stay inside a lot, because our bad karma was coming out to play. I don't really apply comments like that to my life, but I listen. All I can say is by the end of July there was no such thing as a bad day, because a bad day was just a regular day. A lot of Murphys law happening. I told Mr. Sun, as long as I wake up in the morning, I can handle the rest. Hugs to you my dear.

          Morning All
          Quick fly through from me.
Just wishing everyone a peaceful day, and whatever you would wish for yourself.
If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

                  Arvo peeps,

Had a Tradie arrive at 8:30 to fix a bit of verandah which all-fall-down last week. He's just left. Good worker, nice job, reasonable rates but shit ... can he talk!

I'm a tangent taker....I see something, it leads to something else, then from there somewhere else...I can waste hours...its quite tragic but interesting if you're not able to go anywhere...

anyone else noticed the comment under the KEEP OUR FORUM ALIVE section? is NEVER an indication that we're all up for judgement day soon? spooky stuff...

Well Raggsie, it seems to go like this...

Wake up (somewhere between 5 and 6am)

                          • Go to MWO
                          • Go to Social Media to see who's up whom and who's paying
                          • Go to Herald Sun Newspaper
                          • Read HS Newspaper
                          • Do Daily Crossword HS Newspaper
                          • Go to Seniors online and do daily Wordcracker
                          • Do Wordcracker again until I'm #1.
                          • Do Daily Trivia thingy.
                          • Go to The Age and read headlines
                          • Go to Huffington Post and read
                          • Go to REggiecam to see Melbourne weather as the day is unfolding
                          • REad and reply to emails

That takes care of my early morning. But then, many times during the day I find myself needing an answer to a question. Maybe a recipe, maybe a place to holiday, maybe a quote. Maybe check out places for sale/rent. I think all of my reference books are now obsolete.

Apart from a short time on the Chook Forum, MWO is now my only forum. I've totally stopped ebaying because I don't need any more shit. So all in all, for me the net's a general filler-inner and answerer of questions. And a silent companion. I like that.

                            Good heavens!!!
I tend more towards what Happs does. I think of something and then it takes off.
I have a notebook and pencil beside me when I'm reading so I can look up new words.... and it goes from there. Once, pre computers, Mr Rags and I were up at 3 am looking up some algebraic stuff from Suclid or someone... (I happened to have Great Books of the Western World at the time), because of a thought I had.

Ahhh, I'm not a cryptic crossworder or sudoko player and I limit my news to ABC radio and Juanita at 7. And Graeme. Love Graeme. My mate likes Anton and Lee Lin on SBS.
Have to look at the seniors site.
I tried saving reggiecam to favourites but it didn't work.

Happs, have been spending ages looking at real estate in Currumbin/Elanora/Victoria Pt. Just dreaming at the moment.

We lived at Victoria Point when we first moved up to Brisbane...I lasted two weeks before I told the Lamp to get me out...it's changed since then though, people actually know now that there is a city near them called Brisbane...
