Hey Glassy,
When you have time, look at my post #175
Tee hee.
Then have a look at post #104 and say you like the Whirlpool dryer fire.
Thankyou.
Now, go and have a lovely relaxing hot bath, there's nothing to watch on tv so you'll have an early night to sleep off the jet lag.
Other important news, Brent won MasterChef. Want to go to his restaurant when/if he opens it.
Only 2 sleeps to go then I'm awaaaaaay.

Glassy - so good to see you back and yes we do want photos!!
Mr G - I thought of you today when I was at a seminar on peer support for young people with emerging mental illness ..... fabulous presentations from young people who are being diagnosed and offered treatment/interventions at earlier stages in their mental illness; and from older people talking about their lived experience, particularly of bi-polar disorder. One woman in particular impressed me greatly, and when she talked about her on-line peer support group and how she feels about them I was very much reminded of how I feel about the Undies.
I hope Angel hasn't disappeared ..... because I still need her to make my wedding dress :H One that isn't a size 12 or 14, and that doesn't make me look like mutton dressed up as lamb!! White, or even off-white is definitely not appropriate either
Although I have to say, just about the minute that I started telling people that we had decided on a day, I regretted it :H:H I've had people talking about what they will wear "at that time of year" who I hadn't even planned to invite. 2 foster daughters and 5 nieces who want to be bridesmaids (although one of them - the youngest - actually wants to be "Matron of Honour" because she reckons that gives her the right to boss all her cousins around). And 4 great nieces. And 3 great nephews. Plus my (foster) daughter's lad, for whom we are grandparents. And I roooly roolly want to invite two of my ex-sisters-in-law ....... but can I invite them and leave my brothers and their new partners out
And that's just MY side of the extended family!!!!!
Is it any wonder that people elope!!
Maybe we should just have a party?
If the Undies thread dies, I'll just start a "Dear Abby" oneNever give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn

The peer recovery movement in mental health is really picking up steam here and abroad. It is a very active movement, particularly here in Victoria. I love the peer support 'model'. Well, i call it community spirit! When i was at booze school recently for 3 weeks, it was suggested i might be interested in taking on a peer role there. Maybe down the track as it does interest me. Crikey, seems you've got your work cut out organising your wedding. :H
It'll be a blast!

You guys are lovely.
Not sure how/what photos to share yet. I was thinking if you really want to see them I could put some on photobucket and provide you with the details if you email me.There's two ways of looking at the holes in your shoes

Miss Behaving;1690311 wrote: HMMM ....... the peer recovery stuff interests me much more than weddings. What will be your criteria for taking up that offer?
Stay orf the grog G man you eeedjit! haha. We didn't discuss it further, but i imagine completion of the rehab program which i half did, but can do again any time. Also for me, a good chunk of sober time will be necessary of course.
Miss Behaving;1690314 wrote: I totally agree G. Go for it and if you are interested in taking it further PM me.
