    Thanks Happy. It's been easily the worst experience of my life. At just over a year of separation, I have absolutely no regrets. And yes, the future can only get better, Already is.
    Once the divorce and property settlement are over with, then I can think more about the future. Still in a bit of a limbo at the moment.

      Petrelhead, my lovely partner of (almost) 10 years had a nightmare divorce as well. It didn't involve cheating but it did involve fraud and multiple court cases over property and custody. It is incredibly bruising/damaging but it will end, and then you can pick up the rest of your life and fly with it!!!

        I'm sorry I just dropped out...just needed some time. I've done a little catch up - hello Petrel *wave*...they call me Angel or Cakes as that was my previous name. Now I'm a better version of that (I hope) therefore & henceforth the change of name.
        Actually Undies I don't know if I am being a better version right now so I gotta knuckle down...again...
        I've been sewing up a storm, and working the other jobs, seeing James...and we have a new member in the Cakes household. I introduce Dexter...he came from the RSPCA and that was his name when we found him. Didn't ask why he was there, he's 1 1/2 yrs old & has a very loud purr when he gets going.

        I'll have to limit my computing time but will endeavour to join the fold more productively again. Besides, I missed youse lot. Attached files [img]/converted_files/2367247=7788-attachment.jpg[/img]

            Yay indeed you beautiful Frog. I don't normally but I'm going to give you a BIG one of these :l just because I missed your senior arse.
            Ok, normal programming will resume now. No more huggy things etc, and the nine yr old is booting me off the iPad...

                Sorry you’ve been through such a rough time of it. I’ve never understood infidelity either. It seems to defy logic somehow – to take the one thing out of a relationship that makes it worth having, but then still be left with the difficult, boring stuff. But then everything I know about how to have a successful relationship could be written on a postage stamp and still leave room for Lizzie’s picture.

                  Miss B, thanks for the support. It has been very traumatic. The infidelity much more so than the divorce. I'm on another forum just for that subject. God bless the internet. As we all agree, infidelity hurts like a motherfucker! We would all rather have been thrown down a set of stairs than experience being cheated on. I will survive. I'm in the process of making my life as good as it can be. Cheers.

                  Glassy, it's a long story and I won't bore you with the details. All I know is after lots of reading, research and talking to others in the same place, I know I did nothing wrong to "cause" her to cheat. That's all on her. I even gave her another chance, but there was no remorse. So happy to have moved on. It can only get better.

                    Now Undies, I am beside myself with excitement....I ate VEGETABLES tonight! without hiding them in something and with a STEAK...so excited. First time in weeks. Things are on the up and up...

                          Cakes!!!!! Mother of God I thought we'd lost ya. I completely understand the need to step back for a bit lovey. Better to do that than disappear forever.

                            On an unrelated note, I want to buy something that is only available in the states. Has anyone here used one of those services that redirect post from the US to here and/or have any advice or info about them?

                              I have! A part for the Lamps motorbike. Went really smoothly. They (the people on ebay) posted it to a po box holding in the states then they onsent it to us. Sunny put me onto it. I can dig out the emails and let you know who it was?

                                Thanks Happy. Attitude is a huge part of a happy life I do believe.

                                And you have to make vegetables a daily part of your diet. Sort of like vegetable attitude.
