    I cant remember whether I told you Undies, but three of my nephews, in three different countries, all had babies due within a space of two weeks in September :H:H .... well the first of them got borned yesterday in California

          Boo!! I'm here!

          Have a splendiferous Monday.

          Gorgie sunshine here outside the command desk window.

          All peeps involved in the photocopy naughtiness must report to verandah at lunch time. I can't have this type of behaviour happening when I'm AWOL and totally miss all the fun!!

          Missy - congrats on new arrivals, daughter blessings and coping with management. My management in - surprise surprise surprise - away at a conference! I'm here, glammed up, pretending I'm impordant. About to apply another layer of lipstick to show I mean bus.in.ess!!

            morning all. I'm being all orstaylyan today and chucking a sickie. Been doing that a bit too often lately if truth be told, but seeing as I'm the only person in my workplace that can write a decent discipline letter, I'm probably safe for now. Plus I know where too many bodies are buried for them to ever get rid of me.

            Tawny I love the pink dress idea. May your pink dress days be happy and plentiful.

            Missy - well aren't you just a little bundle of good news lately! Good to hear! :h

            Be good in big school Bridgey. And remember if a boy tackles you it means he secretly likes you. Or he's trying to steal your tuckshop money - I can never remember which.

              Arvo Undies, I missed the morning shift, reporting in late and probably off to the verandah for photocopying violations...

              Bloody amazingly good here apart from a few pains so I'm going to stuff my head into some sunshine for a bit...and maybe some lunch. I'm all virtuous and healthy as of today. Although a friend did bring me some homemade mint slice for arvo tea...nom nom...

                Arvo Undies, I missed the morning shift, reporting in late and probably off to the verandah for photocopying violations...

                  Lots of food photos to follow.
                  I hope you were all well and happy as can be while I was away.
                  I'l try to catch up on a bit of whats been happning with you all in tha last week or so.

                      Well, the ruse worked and Mr Rags had no idea
                      we were going anywhere but to Brisbane.
                      When we arrived at the overseas terminal and I handed him
                      his passport, he looked a bit stunned.
                      Up, up and away......




                      And half a day later we join the other bazillion people on Seminyak/ kuta beach for the sunset show.





                      And the strawberry mocktail, which they managed to match perfectly with the umbrella.

                          Next day we took the coutesy bus to Kuta, where Biggles and Muffy took
                          to the beach even though I warned them they'd get sand caught in there* fur.

                          * For Glassy .



                          They then discoverd Harry's Bar and LOVED the Bintang tables... perfect Teddy size,
                          just across the road from Headquarters which does a nice lunch/snack (and convenient toilet).
                          We met a lady there who comes from S.A. and has been to Bali 18 times!!
                          She gave us a bit of low down info for if/when we next come to Bali.



                          We wanted to see the Memorial to the bombing, so she directed us up the road ,
                          turn right into Popies II, run the gauntlet of the stallholders and it's at the big intersection.



                          What she didn't tell us was that along the way was THE MOST
                          wonderful newly opened cafe thart served up THE MOST
                          wonderful food......
                          Any Undies going to Bali should try to have a meal here... great food, cheap.
                          they serve juices and smoothies in Ball Mason preserving jars... Funky.
                          I especially loved there* hot spiced pork, which as far as I could figure out
                          was very thin sliced pork which is flash fried in cocnut oil then liberally spronkled with
                          good quality black pepper. I found it so bloody delicious I had a second serving.
                          It's the dish on top left.
                          The bonus for me is that I got to eat all the coriander garnish!
                          * For Glassy

                          They also did a crispy salad which was very thin sliced red and ordinary cabbage,
                          some grated carrot, a bit of chives, a very light dressing of ?? mixed with a bit of sugar and topped with
                          crispy things. Delicious. It's the dish on bottom left.



                          As you walk up Poppies II from the beach, it's just round the bend past the stalls.

                            Our driver was not called Ketut :H
                            This was the super duper suite I organised for Mr Rags' birthday...










                            EVERY hotel seems to have an infinity pool.
