Our last dinner at a swish restaurant.
The petit 4s came in a white leather presentation box.
Doesn't get much more pretentious than that.

      Final sunrise

Sigh, loved this place in Sanur. Ate there about 5 times. Called it cafe coffee cups. If any Undies go there, you'll see why.

      Early lunch...

      Last lime juice.

Then back to Kuta for lunch at Fat Chow, via Harry's. This cafe is part of HQ on the beach.
If I could find enough bamboo I'd have a crack at making a seat. It was quite comfy.

Afterwards we went back ro our friend's place for the afternoon before flying out.
He has a lovely rental villa.... makes me almost want to move to Bali...
He must have a storage area somewhere as we started talking about cooking and he went away for a minute and came back with a well thumbed original copy of Margaret Fultons first cookbook....

Part of the backyard... also has a swimming pool. Sigh.

Have a lot of trouble getting on to the site, so hope all you Undies are well.
It is a shame it's such a shambles at the moment, but Mr G assures me it will be OK.
Hopefully we'll be able to resume our conversations soon.

          Good morning undies!!

Did Mr Rags enjoy Bali Rags???

News of the closure of our workplace went out to the world in general yesterday and today I've been flooded with emails of commiseration. We are holding a "last hurrah" event in December and very ironically it looks like it will be very profitable :H

            Morning Roos!

Thanks again for the cool pics Rags. That lime juice on the beach looks such a beaut refreshing, life affirming AF beverage counter ad to a stubby.

Thanks for the good wishes y'all. Things sure are grand, b b beaut i say.

All the best for today Saucy!

Just applied to study Bach. of Social work where i studied this year. Haven't got results of my diploma as yet (2013/14), so not sure how it'll pan out as i may not have passed due to some missed classes, but either way, i am not too attached to the result. Got my music, and little web based community health project to keep me rolling.

Have a bewdy out there. Looking like a pearler today.

Stay in Sunny Sinney for a while?
I'm assuming that there'd be more on offer in the market here than in NZ?
Besides, it'd be a long trip if I wanted to have lunch with you.

                  Happs,
                  These were in Tuesday's SMH.
                  Thought you might like them.
I think you've made similar bliss balls?
I'm going to give them both a try over the weekend.

Any Sydney Undies going to the October Food Fair?
Perhaps we could have noodles together in the park one evening.

Thanks Rags, but there is one very SIMPLE, direct reason for this. 24/7 total alcohol free living. And look what happens as if by magic.

I saw those recipes come down on my Facebook feed from Chef Pete Evans. Yep, that the "I cant believe its not carrot cake" in a ball. With a few added ingredients. They're pretty good. Nice recipe below too Rags.

We are going to stay here for while ......... Mr B has some specific skills that are in demand here, but not in NZ ... it is just about the changing policy environment. And we want to explore Australia some more - the Bruce-mobile is helping with that around NSW, but we have thoughts of being Grey Nomads for a few months and exploring the NT and WA. I've seen a bit of the Pilbara/Kimberley regions and I just love it.

As for me ..... I've had several job offers/exploratory email since the news has leaked out but I'm a bit inclined to sit and wait. I'm think that a change of pace might be in order. I'm a bit tired. And I have 15-20 work years ahead of me so for the rest of it I want to be doing work that I enjoy and working with people that I like

Good on you Missy. I read that part of your post and thought YES! exactly how I feel right now. Isn't it amazing how a circumstance can bring you to a point that it changes how the future will unfold? I love it. A chance to reinvent yourself.

Been watching the news in hospital with the wind and huge waves on the coast. I'm ready for some time by the water I think. Might head there on the weekend.

Just watching the t.v. series from a couple of years ago called 'Treme'. Life after hurricane katrina in New orleans. Some cool music and characters. Take it easy out there.
