Hiya!
Nora, I'm sure you're being modest about your Words with Friends abilities, but I look forward to playing with you however good or bad you may be. My own abilities are rather suspect too!
Dotts, thanks for introducing me to the phrase SFDH! :H Sorry you've still got more to do at the house.
It's a bugger trying to read the label on the charger isn't it, zenny? I needed specs and a magnifying glass too! Hubble telescope is right. We must be getting old! :upset: Sunny, not sure if you saw, but I did reply to your request for advice regarding your laptop.
Glad you enjoyed your weekend liz.
Bunged up does indeed mean nasal congestion in the uk. As an example, one might say something like "my tubes are all bunged up". And, as cori mentioned, a thong is an item of very skimpy underwear or beachwear.
Good for you mrs bear, bringing a halt to the bitching in your office meeting. Far too much of that sort of thing goes on in a lot of workplaces, I think.
Good to see you showing your face again, k9. Well done on the TTFPing. Sunny's idea of TTFPing first thing in the morning makes a lot of sense to me (says he who has never TTFPed in his life). Now, will you two please hurry up and set a date?!!
Pauly, sorry it was slow at work, I hope things are better tomorrow. Making it to day 10 is a fantastic achievement, given how much you were struggling 2 or 3 weeks ago. :goodjob:
:hallo: kradle, fenny, mr g, cori and anyone else I have inadvertently missed.

Good to see you too Reccy!
I normally do TTFP in the morning, but it was still at the pharmacy this morning, so I had to have my daughter go get it for me, since I get to work at 7:30am. I will admit I thought about NOT taking it one more day....but I know where that gets me! The other night when I woke up not knowing if Sierra had come home was probably the worst I've ever felt in my life. I'm embarrassed to even admit it happened!:heart:I love my daughter more than alcohol:heart:

I'm here, I'm here!! Just got home from work - had to stop by the grocery store to buy 2 items. Yeah right - I didn't grab a cart so that was fun juggling 2 mini watermelons, bananas, two bottles of salad dressing, one stack of paper plates, a can of pineapple, a can of mandarin oranges and a box of pudding mix. (I'm making my cool whip pineapple thingy because when I go AF, I crave sugar!!!!!)
Zenny - I'm so thrilled for you to be visiting your Mum. :l You did excellent shopping at Costco today.
Ok - I'm reading back now. I HATE not being able to get on at work. Can't use my computer because someone sits behind me and can see my screen. And for some reason, it's hard for me to get a Verizon signal at work. I'm not the only one. You should see us holding our phones in weird positions trying to get a signal. I've got 4G for goodness sakes. :H"Only I can change my life. No one can do it for me.".....Carol Burnett

OH Reccy - I am so sorry - I did see it and didn't mention it - thank you so much and yes I did look on my charger and it does indeed have the 100-240 V - AND I had to wear my readers, then use a magnifying glass with a powerful light shining on it - LOL Getting old is for the birds !!!! But that is great 'cos I hate having to use the folks where I stay computers .... although I need to have my mum check with her computer tutor about if she has Wi-Fi - she has no idea. I know the other folk I am staying with do and I already have an adaptor as I take my e-reader with me always..... so that is really good news!
K9 - glad that you took the pill - I have had two bad instances lately that has made me have to get serious about taking it - I even drove the other day after having four - and I always vowed I would NEVER do that ...... and I did. Which worries me no end - so the best thing to do - is take AL out of the equation. Hence taking the AB.
Nora - what is the pineapple thing that you are making? it sounds delicious - I want to make it !!! Please would you PM me the recipe or tell me the name of it so I can Google it.
Hi Lizanne and fen - and Cori - hope all is well with you? Dottie - I so hope that you get that house stuff sorted soon - what a pain for you.
Hi Guitarista - nice to see you here !!
MB - sorry you are not feeling too good with the ABX - but keep taking them - please ??? Mine made me feel yucky too but I finished TWO courses of them and my darn ear is still not right ..... I am hoping it goes away as it isn't bad enough to go back to the doc with at the moment ....
Oh Reccy - one thing when I first came here (apart from many others) that I did find amusing - was they call bum bags a fanny pack !!! Not sure if they still call them that in UK (bum bags) but they did when I first came here (yes I know I am dating myself - LOL). And I got a HUGE laugh at work when I asked someone if their propelling pencil had a rubber - but until you actually say words, you have NO idea of some of the words that are not to be used !!
And on that note, I am off to bed - have a good evening everyone.
Hugs XXX
I am totally wiped and am going to get my clothes ready for the morning - up at 5.00 as I work again tomorrow. How simple it is to see that we can only be happy now and there will never be a time when it is not now....

Hey sunny, in Oz fanny refers to a lady's privates, whilst I think in the US it refers to a butt, yes? Ya gotta laughter with the double meanings!
I've really worked out now that sugar is just NOT good. Hypocritically, i can easily eliminate all hidden sugars from my diet, but not so easily alcohol. Am working on it though.
Reading how all of you are having major issues at work, ya poor loves, it must be fairly tough economically for you guys. Oz ain't bad currently, i know a fair few undies are having stressful times at work, that would be unbearable. Remember my friends we work to live not live to work.
Stay strong steppers.
