Jan - SO sorry about the ear and sinus infection - having spent the past ten days with an ear infection I really feel for you. Make sure you take ALL your ABX !!!! I had to go and get a second course of them 'cos my infection didn't go away ..... but I am feeling way better now. Feel better my friend ...... so sorry that you are so poorly.

Kradle - you too are not well - feel better - sending hugs to you ..... I hope that you get to feeling much better soon !! Has Matt still not had his tooth fixed from ages ago ?

Nursie - do you remember how and why we were in touch before ? I don't......

Oh Reccie - no problems re missing the bit about the garden - it is so easy to do that!! I have done it many times. Yes it amazes me how empty the pools are over here compared to UK - where my daughter lives the apartment complex has a pool and we went about two weeks ago and we were the only ones there !!

I laughed at you saying that you would like to catch the gardening bug - do you not like gardening then? Oh - laburnham trees are lovely !!! To me if I have a good book, and then my garden, life is great!!!!

No-one here has mentioned AL in a while - I am curious - what is everyone's status if you don't mind me asking? So much for me having an AF August - not happening now as of yesterday - but I am going to try again !!!

Well, I officially turned over my keys today at work and am now part time .... BUT am back out with the dreaded public again ........

Dottie - does Hubs drink? When I stopped, my BP went way down - and I agree that the old fashioned way of taking it is best - the machines are very convenient though!

Zen - not good about the inducing and then still nothing happening ..... please keep us updated ....

Pauly - my daughter is a cosmetologist and I keep asking her if I should wax or SOMETHING but she says I am fine - I am very blonde which is just as well - if I wasn't I would look like the hairy whatever from wherever !! I have so much peach fuzz - but have never touched it. I worry about shaving it and then having to keep up with it - and waxing - I wonder - where do you stop the line that you wax - if that makes sense? I mean - there, there is peach fuzz - and all of a sudden - there isn't ??? How do you all deal with that ? Hope you all do not mind me asking ...... LOL

And Dottie YES I am so excited about the rain - except we are supposed to get 3-4" in the next 24 hours which really isn't good - although we need it. Then more rain every day for five days .....I shall be complaining about too much before long - no pleasing me is there !

I try to only drink on date night with hubs. When I travelled the past few weeks with the gang, I had three or four beers with dinner. Nothing crazy.
Ok, so Matt is still in AZ. Got it. I take it some kind of set back took place?
Sun, you are going part time? I am amazed. You have always worked so much and such crazy hours!
Off to find something to feed the kids for dinner. Antibiotics are not making my tummy so happy, so I may not each much.
I love Nora too, but why is your love in all caps Sun?
Things happen so fast here that I loose track!

sun hubs is more of a teatoatler..half a glass of wine and he is fine.....half a glass????
He rarely drinks now that I am not. AL thoughts come and go. Stress is a biggie...
His tooth only cost us 85. It as a little filler on a front tooth. Didnt need any numbing or xray so kept it cheaper. We will go back for cleanings soon.
Got him in to the doc about BP and he has him taking half a pill twice a day. And going to do a full complement of blood work. We will do that tomorrow morning. This doc does not believe in throwng pills at everything. I like him for that. I will make an appointment with him after all the house sruff is settles so my BP is not through the roof too.
Did get to the gym for weights but no cardio...ran out of time. Needed to get ashower before I drove him to the doc.....
Another fun filled day as old folks....;-))

Not had a chance to read back since my last post, but will do so shortly. I set off for the supermarket this evening to buy groceries and came back with a kitten. She was wandering around in the road on the edge of the village on a very dangerous corner and clearly had no road sense whatsoever - she didn't even attempt to get out of the way of my car. She was an accident waiting to happen. I got out of the car to try to guide her away from the road and noticed that she was exceedingly thin. It was pretty obvious no-one was looking after her, so I took her home and fed her. She was absolutely starving and extremely thirsty too. Need to work out what to do with her now. Could be about 4 months old. She is nothing but skin and bones. :upset: A visit to the vet may be in order tomorrow.

Hey Zen - I don't know yet - I haven't even booked it - LOL. Probably about two weeks .... my daughter cannot take any more time than that off work and I am a real homebody and start missing home after about four days .....

Jan - the ABX that I was taking messed with my tummy too - I feel for you. I never usually have any troubles in that area !!! LOL

Dotts- the doc has hubs on pills already? That isn't so good ..... but good that blood work is going to be done.

Really funny - I started to post - then got side-tracked, came back, finished writing it, posted it and then looked - and there are a lot more after the one that I was replying to! !!!!! So, now I need to go and read those that are after that and re post and apologies to those who think I am a tad touched .....
