Hello all. Woke up during the night with an awful sore throat. I called in sick and went back to sleep for 3 hours. Feel a little better but not great. Do ya think the poisons are escaping my body????? Anyway I did TTFP so I'm still in the running for the gold.:H
I'll be back as soon as I get up and then my computer on

Recently back from the vet, having had our 18 year old cat put down - my daughter took him when she moved out but she lives near us ..... very sad ....... and then I TTDP. Thought it would be a good idea.....

Liz, sorry you're anxious, it's only natural that you would feel that way. Most people dislike change, especially as we get older, but sometimes it can turn out to be an opportunity or a blessing in disguise.

Hey Reccie - you always sound so positive. But, how are YOU doing? Do you still battle the urges or are you into a good place? Guess I need to realize that my tools are not working and I need to try some new things. Oh well, honestly.......the tools would help if I bothered to use them. That's what I need to focus on.

Sunni - I am so very sorry about your cat. I know how hard it is. One of ours is about 12 years old now and another one is about 10.

Hello to everyone. Throat is not hurting so bad but feel achy, ear aches, etc. Mama, I think you might have sent me your bug. Or maybe it was you Sunni. :H Anyway, hope that you're feeling much better right away.

:lsun I am so sorry....our fur babies are so important.....

Got lots done at the house. Tomorrow we will bring home the rest of the stuff that wouldn't fit today. There is a wardrobe and desk in the basement. We will need to borrow a truck to get them out but I am not rushing on that....it can sell and we will get it out before it closes or if the new folks want them I will just leave them.
Need a shower and some time to chill...

Sunni - :l So sorry about your kitty...I KNOW HOW HARD THAT IS!!! We are sending you love and kisses :h I am sure the kitty had a GREAT life with you!! I lost my very special dog a year ago...even though I have another one, it's just not the same connection...but at least he is in a better place than he WAS!

Hey all,battling afternoon fatigue yet again,coffee to the rescue! gotta watch Louie later so i'm making Brady kick his friends out,3 teenage boys and a toddler=irrtated paulywogg,seems like alot of people have been having to put their animals down lately,it's sad but at least they aren't suffering anymore,it's hard cuz you keep expecting them to jump on you or be around the corner after they're gone,it was pretty busy at work so that's good i gotta get Brady's school supplie,this summer break went too fast,most parents love back to school to me,it's just more work,hope everyone has a good rest of the day

Dottie, when I am under extreme stress, I get an annoying arrhythmia that sounds similar to yours. It's completely benign, but feels awful! It's always a "wake up" call that things need to simmer down. :h

I have been hacking back weeds around the house and garage. We are going to put the house up on the market, and the weeds were making things difficult for our handy-dude to scrape and paint.

Found a massive zucchini behind the garage, and now I am making zucchini bread. :H

Mrs. Fen and I are in the market for a single floor condo...we are tired of snow removal and house maintenance. Plus, our 2,000 sq. foot house is just too much house for us. This place is technically a two-flat, so someone could easily owner occupy one half of the house while getting the mortgage paid through the rent. That's what we did for the first four years.

fen we looked for a condo like that for a long time and they were just too expensive...hope u find something you like. And the doc didnt want to put me on any meds for something that only happens once or twice a year and I know stress it a trigger.
