I am here ..... K9 - so sorry for your AL phone stuff - poor chap - but I totally understand !!!! Is he that bad ? Maybe you could get to know him ? Just a thought ..... You never know. My very first b/f from when I was 15 and I are in touch - with hubs' permission I hasten to add ...... and it is really nice .....

I have to admit that I have three Guinness left over from last night ..... and you all know where they are going don't you ??? So, I think TOMORROW will be my first day for the 'week AF'. So sorry - but if it is here, I drink it ..... hubs always has stuff in the house but it isn't Guinness. So I do not touch it .... odd isn't it ?

Our heat is really miserable .... I walked one of the dogs this morning before it got really bad and then just now went out to hang some washing - it is awful out there - we have a 50% chance of rain tomorrow - I will believe it when I see it - plus it means tornado weather if the heat stays the same.

MB - I do not have FB so cannot see the video .....

K9 - did you TTDP ? I feel hypocritical asking but you said you were going to take it at noon - so I am your reminder .....

Dots - go you for going to the gym. I was going to go out this morning to run errands and NOTHING fit !!!! I ended up wearing a skirt ! The only jeans that fit were either on the line or in the ironing pile. This is SO not good. I am not overweight but if my clothes do not fit it isn't good either !

Fen - I had not thought that about my boss. Insincere, as Mr Bear said, is the perfect word. My hubs has ALOT more to say about it.....
I have not heard from the head hunter again.....I'll chill for a bit and see. Honestly, I would have to consider getting a concealed weapons permit and keep a small pistol in my purse if I went there...and 30 K is not worth that. If Boss Lady chills, all may be well. BUT...if the headhunter calls, I will talk to him.
Such a conundrum!!

Ok...I TTFP...in fact I took 2 to get myself started! Now I don't have to think about it the rest of the day, do I?

As far as the guy, I guess there is a possibility that I might actually like him...he sends me the nicest texts during the day. He does not live here, but he has told me he would move....anyway, maybe I will just give it a chance (not fueled by AL) and see what happens?? Not sure why my first reaction is always just to say "NO". LOL

And Mama, you know you will always be my #1 Spouse! :h Is the neighborhood of the potential job really that bad? If so, I think you should just forget about it right now!! You will make me sick with worry if you are in that kind of environment!!

there is an on-line rating system for apartments......when I got here we were graded at 63% thumbs up....maybe lower...
now we are and 87% and won an award for the best in our market
this prospective new job has an 8%...yep...EIGHT % ...pretty bad....

The speakers on the TV are not working....it is a surround sound thing we got a long time ago. I keep thinking it will die any minute...NOT replacing it. Maybe a sound bar or something. His hearing is getting worse and worse....can I run away????
