I celebrate 2 years of sobriety :)

I had my last drink on the 5th of August 2012...
It snowed then in my city (very unusual for South Africa/Pretoria)...
On the 5th, 2014, I started a new job.
And we had an earthquake!!! 5.5! Also VERY unusual in my country...
My kids think it is very funny!!

I am extremely grateful.
For those still battling, it can be done, there is hope!!

Sol, I joined MWO in September last year, and I started reading incessantly - and I mean incessantly. I came across your one year thread in those first few days, and I cannot tell you how much it had inspired me. You have two sober years behind you, and I'm on my way to my first. Thank you for that thread - for some reason it planted the seed that I could, perhaps, do it. So, massive congrats on two years, and massive thanks for what you did for me last year.

Could you feel the quake in my old growing-up town? Or does Pretoria still not rock?
