The BEST part - I was able to drive her and will be able to go see her this eve.
She wants no part of anyone who's been drinking - as It's a very quiet place......so that now rules out her Dad & brother who are watching football in the pub :egad:

            Completely random post alert:

Does anybody still write letters, on paper, with a stamp and an envelope? Got one from my mum during the week, and it was such a lovely surprise. Don't know when I last wrote a letter to anybody; these days I don't even send Christmas cards.

Evening Dreamy no I can't remember the last time I wrote a letter to some one and posted it in an envelope and stamped. Its a dying custom. I used to quite a few years ago and loved buying note paper and matching envelopes. I wonder do they even sell them any more. Sadly its texts e-mails and social media site like fb and twitter. So nice of your mum to post a letter to you.

Love stationery, Foxy! I could probably open a shop with what I have at home... Notebooks, pens, pencils, post-its, whatever.

                Have you done your shopping?

Supermoon tonight, in case it hasn't risen yet where you are. Ours played hide-and-seek with the clouds, but still a nice sight.

May go out after or leave it till tomorrow tho the rain has stopped for now may start up again. Was heavy with thunder earlier. I haven't even gotten dressed all day i'm in my nightie and dressing gown still. Was tired earlier and a bit down but feeling bit better now.

Foxy, have you thought of B-com injections? They are great when you feel rundown. I also once in a while take magnesium tablets - get the ones with added calcium and vitamins. It takes a while for the magnesium levels in your body to build up again, but after a week or three you should really feel the effects. Reminder to self: follow your own advice and get some this week, Dream.

dodged the rain to take dog out. hurricane bertha hasnt finished with us yet. big winds tomorrow.

got a reminder on my phone to look outside later as there are supposed to comets as well, but may get mooned out. mothers birthday soon ,so will be sending a card, wont be much writing in it though.

you do sound down foxy, magnesium sounds like a good idea. vitamin injections are private practice items here.

satz hope DD is ok, being kept in wont be nice.

Googled the next meteor shower dates, and got this piece of advice:

Never base important decisions on this or any weather information obtained from the Internet. :H:H

12 Aug seems to be the peak for the Perseids, Rox.

thats the one, peaks then, starts sooner. the moons glow will overshadow them apparently. now theres an odd use of the word. shows how English is so erm, malleable?

                              overshadow?

They're going to peak here just in time for sunrise, so there'll be some real overshadowing!
