    Army thread blueday 11 August

Ah thanks everyone - just back from hospital. She's still in.
    Sweetie :l
Nurses are saints :l-doctors nor so much. In the hospital they play 'Spot the Doctor'
We had a good laugh over that
Mr S thought he spotted someone that looked like a doctor at reception.:H
    But he was mistaken ........

She's on IV antibiotics while she awaits for the elusive doctor to arrive - he's in Blanchardstown apparently - ironic - as that is the hosp we said we's rather die than go to :H

Taking tomorrow off ................... I'll say yous said

Ach no Molls, I haven't really.. Just feel so helpless when it comes to dealing with my friend and her illness. She has always been like my guardian, kept me right when I first started on the wards all those yrs ago, advised me on house and men stuff, kinda like a big sister or summat. I just want to be there for her in her time of need, ya know?

Yeah we need to get to Fitzpatrick's before the winter sets in!!! I'm still yearning that chowder!

Ah Satz:l:l What are they thinking it is?

Laughing at yer spot the doctor! Think my friend had the same problem over the weekend in her hosp- part of the reason she was so upset, as felt she was forgotten about. In all fairness tho I don't think it's that they are all sitting with their feet up drinking tea- they are thin on the ground now too and stretched too.

Sooooo glad yer taking time off- it is a must!

Sooooo glad yer taking time off- it is a must!Ah I know Sweets and it's easy for us to laugh 'cos she's not really badly sick and the nurses are BRILLIANT .... but all is needed is to tell the patient what is going on. Your poor friend :l

Is that a Dublin slang word?!:H

Think the 'geebag' got off lightly cause it seems like it's ok to come here drunk and hurl abuse at certain folk and cause divisions between people when there's absolutely no call for it:upset:

Communication is a big thing Satz- think that's where the system fails somewhat. As you say the patient/family just wanna know what's happening. Hope yis get answers soon xx
