    Lost the plot

My dear, please listen to all of the posts. Lushy and Luvuall have had great tragedies in their lives. Please seek counselling, and drinking just numbs the feelings and never allows you to just feel and grieve.

I am so glad you came back.:h

      Lost the plot

I am so sorry to hear of you loss. Losing someone you love is hard enough but a sudden work accident would be just awful. My stepdaughter died a couple of years ago. We were in a grief support group put on by hospice. It met for 6 weeks and there were about 10 people in it, all grieving. It was so helpful. I hope you can find something like this. Hugs to you. Stay in touch.

Hi grab support from friends, family, professionally..counselling and if you have a faith get some spiritual support from your church/priest etc...
cant imagine the pain..but at ;east you know the booze makes it worse..depression increases and you end up feeling more crap.

Your world may appear upside down and it is at present...brighter days ahead i hope..this is just a very dark time right now.

keeping you in my prayers...Regards Cassy

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Your grief sounds so raw. Please do something to help yourself through this very tough time. Talk to someone close, a counsellor, some family or friends, and please come here often. We are all here for you too. Drinking is temporary and harmful. You need real support. Please do that for yourself.

So sorry to hear of your loss. Try not to spend too much time alone. Distract yourself with friends, family, charitable causes. Time will help. Unfortunately, time has to pass before the pain lessons. Drinking will just prolong the pain. Keep logging on. We are here for you.
                Take care of yourself.

                Julie
