Me too. Thanks for the comfy clothes and the chocs and mags, gals - and most of all the company. Sorry Reggie - you missed the pillow fight!

Hi all. Still in Kanab Utah. Hiked in Bryce Canyon again today. One of the most beautiful places I have been lucky enough to visit. I loved the hoo doo's which look like huge sand castles. The Piute Indians thought they were The Ancients turned to stone by a trickster coyote. Love you all and pics when I get home!Outside of a dog a book is mans best friend. Inside of a dog its too dark to read

Sounds like fun last night. And I suspect Reggie was there...he's like the 'Illusionist'.
Not much to report here....it's pouring with rain, has been all night and the biggest monkey has his first sailing lesson this morning. So Mr Cakes & monkey are out somewhere in the rain, wrestling with a boat. I'm surprised the teacher didn't call it off but as I said to Mr Cakes "it's a test. You gotta be tough to be a sailor. You don't just call off a sailing lesson because of a little storm..." I wonder if the monkey will come home tattooed, can you get a tattoo at 9yrs old?
Bridge I loooove the Bachelor (I find it fascinating, such odd behaviour from all involved) and I loooooved Rosie's breakdown. I was crying laughing.
Tonight I'm doing an Indian feast...a beef curry, dahl, rice & roti. No Dirty Street Pies here...Formerly Angelcakes, new name, new attitude.

Hiya Cakes and Sundies,
Gorgi day here ... brilliant sunshine. I'm just waiting for not one, not two but three handsome young things to come up from Melbourne to take me to lunch. There'll be NO Dirty Street Pies, of that I am certain.

Maybe if i could get hold of advance episodes of "Cold case files of L.A. crack house gang abductions" or "Unsolved chainsaw murders, lower east side Chicago 1981-86", i'd be in with a chance.

Glass Half Empty;1701868 wrote: Yeah, but it was just a dirty street pie. Despite Mr G's protestations, they're probably gazing romantically at each other over a Hestonesque Pie du Jour as we speak.
Thank you lovely. While we eat can I please bend your ear about the bachelor that got away?
:H

I've only got macaroni cheese but it is very nice!! And a slab of diet coke.
Rags, you can come if you leave your cooking disaster at home :H
Anyone else in?
Couldn't get there.

We're off to Wingello this arvy for a TV dinner...
sausage rolls, pasties, meat pies and veggie pies.
Apparantly we will be obliged to watch football while we partake of this feast
and say things like
"Garn the blues" (or tigers or sharks).
I'm taking the makings for pancakes for brekky as our tv hosts asked if we'd like to stay the night
instead of leaving early and driving back home.
Missy, the risotto and spinch gnocchi recipe has been banished to the garbage bin.
Half of dinner went on the compost heap.
There was no rescuing it.
Matthew Evans lied.
