Reccie, I'm astonished that the lack of a title for your dad's place could cause that massive of a price reduction! What a let down that must have been.

Okay, you all know I LOVE skwerls...so cute, acrobatic, persistent...but definitely not smart, at least at this time of year! Those little morons are running around with black walnuts as huge as their heads, trying to stash them in the most ridiculous of places. Mrs. Fen spied one going into our garage this morning, no doubt with the intention of stashing his huge walnut in her tail pipe or wherever...she grabbed the electric garage door opener controls to shut the door and he came flying out of there, LOL!

I will take pics of some of their more ridiculous nut hiding places and send them to you all. I find them on the back porch rail, the window sills, between Mrs. Fen's bike tire and brake calipers...you name it, they've stashed it there.

Morning all,
We went through the compa with the realtor and thought we had it set well. The house is in an old neighborhood and unfortunately over the years it has become run down as the older folks who lived there sold out to folks who did not take care of the neighborhood like my folks and all the neighbors did. It is a brick house and I replaced the shutters and the garage door. Spruced up the landscape and have he kid across the street cutting the grass. I repainted the entire inside and had all the hardwood floors redone. The kitchen and the bath are still stuck in the 60's but I didn't figure sticking 25K to fix it up was a good investment and the realtor agreed. I did update the full bathroom in the basement and it looks really nice. There are several foreclosures on the street so that drags the price down too. One sold down the street for 35K. They can fix that up and still come out ahead. I don't owe anything on the house so whatever I make minus what I put n it is profit. It is just sad to see the house not be appreciated but I guess that is the times. I will NOT give it away and if worse comes to worse I may try to rent again. LAST resort for sure. It is 25 miles from where we live so popping by to fix things is not handy at all. Not sure I could hire a company to do t for the little rent it got last time....sad situation for sure.

Staying in today to do laundry and tidy up the basement so I can do some exercise in MY room down there. Dh has his model train stuff in the other room..basement isn't through the whole house so we have to share.

I will be around all day.

Hey all,that does suck about the house Dots,even the nicest house is worthless on a shit block,actually my street is getting that way,when i first moved here 9 years ago,real estate was booming,these housed were selling for 280,000,now they're going for less than 100 grand,there is quite a few foreclosures,abandooned houses,and these owners are renting to yucksters! I guess Kell named the kitty Poppy,Louie loves that thing,it's so cute! but i hafta watch him cuz he wants to carry her and he squeezes he too tight,i decided to take the day off work,stupidly,but yesteeday drained me,hope we all have a great Tuesday
