Seriously though - I think it's great that you have taken some time for yourself, Zen. I never have any time to be all by myself. It just never happens anymore. Hubby can't drive - doesn't go anywhere unless our son or I take him.
It is hard to always be the one taking care of everyone & everything.
So, you enjoy every single minute. :h:h

FT - how are you doing?

:wavin: to everyone - I really better work for a bit now. Can you tell that my assistant is on vacation this week? :H

I'm here! Couldn't get on here yesterday afternoon, and I had to shuttle the Mrs. off to the airport (after an emergency hem job on her dress pants). The new buyers of our house ran an inspection on it last night, and I had to be out from 5-8. Went to the cabin and crashed early, due to my cold.

Good news is that the inspection went off without a hitch. I know that we would have been given the option to "cure" but it would have been a hassle.

Dotts, I have my fingers crossed re: the house showing today.

Nora, I think you should take a weekend to yourself and go someplace nice. I LOVE to vacay by myself, as you know!

Scott could use Son or that driving service to get someplace if he needs to. It's too hard on you to be there 24/7. :l

Zen, I'm glad you are enjoying Holiday numero dos! :H

Mama, the next time Bri complains about how crappy she's feeling, tell her to use protection from now on. It's not like we're living under the Taliban and no birth control is available!

Dottie, I am sorry about the showing. You're right...new roof, furnace, etc...that's a LOT! Most of the hard stuff is already done.

Dots - did you look at any comparable properties in your price range?? How does your house compare to what they look like? DId you paint the walls flat white?? Color makes a HUGE difference....just trying to think of some ideas.

Nora - the lake house is yours anytime...for free!!! You could read the days away!!!! Just go cray cray!!

Sorry, Zen, did see your question, not sure what you mean. Score? Mostly mid to high 90's. During season I got my handicap down to 22. Age 60 before I ever picked up a club so started out at 40 or so. 22 was hard, presently 25. Having played you know how you never know who shows up on any given day. Enjoy it. We have to use a golf cart so not as much exercise as I'd like. FitnessPal tells me 18 holes using a cart burns 750 calories. Ya right! I would say more like 350. But enjoy the game and social part, great way to get to know people.

Had a stay at home day and got lots of loose things crossed off list. Even did the ironing! Going with neighbors to club tonight for pasta buffet. Not too great for the diet, sure it will be good. Tiramisu is the dessert - if I eat can I count as AF day? Just kidding.
