    TMH - Great job on ignoring that drink cart. :goodjob: Congratulations on winning your golf tourney.

    Mama - so glad that you got you a new laptop!!!

    Well - just home from the gym. I am upping my game and going to try to get something in 5 days a week. If I can't stop drinking then I'll be coming home & going to the gym later in the evening - that eliminates any drinking. I AM going to do this. Feeling positive.

    Rusty - great idea to start a thread for Dottie!!!! :thanks: Do you have time to start it? I'm so happy for our Miss Dottie - she has worked so hard for this!!!!!!!!!

      Oh gosh - so late being here !! I went shopping this morning and anyone who knows me knows how much I love that .... ROTFLMBO !!!!!! BUT I bought some leggings !!!! I have never ever worn them - I have cows, not calves - and am short so never have thought they would look good - but finally bought some - took daughter with me and got some!! Going to get some comments at work tomorrow that is for sure !!! I will PM a pic if anyone wants one ... if I can work out how! Hubs thinks they look great!

      DOTS - SO well done on a year!!!! That is awesome - and gosh - yes, to survive what you went through, yes I can understand you thinking you needed to clean up your act - I am so happy that you are here and well - go you !!!!! That is wonderful !!!

      Kradle - it was great chatting with yesterday. We had a good laugh and it was lovely getting to know you. I think you might want to share some of what we talked about - simply to maybe get some more input as to what to do ..... it is a conundrum for you that is for sure. And you know that you are welcome here anytime - although you also know that it is a very boring place to visit !! In fact I will throw that out to all of you - we do have a spare room - but where I live is not a hip place !!!

      MB - loved chatting with you too yesterday. Sorry I cannot help you where I would like to be able to - I checked it out and no the one I have does not do what I hoped it did. LOVE that you got a new computer! I have a computer with Windows 8 on it and it did take some getting used to - but I love it now.

      TMH - good for you re the cancer - I have PM'd you. I am 6 years - or 7 - I can never remember.

      Pauly - 30 days ???? WOW - I am very impressed !!!! And sort of envious - I cannot ever imagine me getting to 30 days. I got to 8 months a few years ago - and have no idea how I did it - well yes I do - I did it with Topa - but had the SE of extreme depression .....I just feel sometimes as if I am on a never ending merry-go-round.

      I hate to tell you all, but I hate the thought of a crab boil ...... it sounds barbaric. Sorry ...

      Rusty - don't know if you remember me but years ago we used to chat on the chat thingie that never seems to work any more. Nice to see you here ..... :l

      TMH - what is Arnold Palmers ????

      Reccy - it was a figure of speech re me shrivelling up about quitting for a month, I would give my eye teeth to be able to do that.

      Lizann - so sorry yesterday was so bad for you - been there and done that - you need to be able to PM any and/or all of us - I am always here .......please feel free to contact me.

      Okay - going to make some more puff pastry raspberry cream cheese thingies that went down extremely well with hubs - apart from the fact that raspberries have seeds .....

            Shoot Mama! Let me see what I can use to access your computer remotely. I used to use Logmein to help my parents, brother, etc. I think Reccie is a computer whiz! I don't have Windows 8 and would have to play.

                  Hey all,it was totally pointless going to work,i only did 4 haircuts,bleh,shoulda stayed home but hubs probly would have driven me nuts,throwing in marie calendars chicken pot pies for dinner,don't feel like cooking,TMH,i think any days off al is a good thing,so never say "only"in front of 14 daysit is so hot today! i'll be glad when it's time for sweaters i think,i'm already sick of my summer clothes anyways,hope everybody has a good one

                          daisies - Arnold Palmer's one of the best flavours of Arizona Iced Tea, my drink of choice now!
                          Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...

                              Oh here's a logic problem for the real brainiacs amongst us.... And you all know who you are! :l

                              I have to figure out a car pool schedule :

                              So I have ten trips to make for the week I have four adult drivers and 5 kids.. Each adult driver can take one kid in their car and no one minds doing the up trip only or back trip only or minds picking them up at home and getting them back from school.....

                              So how do we divide the drives so everyone is pretty much equal?????

                              I Could not even consider the question while I was drinking! Ha ha so feel I am half way to recovery...:H

                              Anyway, this is what's distracting me tonight.
