I see you are in England .... I too am English but living in USA. The culture there makes it so hard. Alchio... I was right there with you on the L bottle of spirits when I joined MWO. I actually maxed out at 1.75L a day (they sell big 1.75L jugs of it over here in the States). Don't ask me how my body handled it, I have no clue. I'm still here though! My internal organs had fortitude!
Nasty, horrible, dark days. Wouldn't wish that on anyone.

I'm listening to "The Nora Music Channel" from last night and putting a birthday party together for Jim at the local joint, picking food and just about to call guests. His birthday is 17th Sept (half way to St. Paddy's Day)... it's a Wed, so will organize it for the 20th (Saturday).

Need your opinions! This is not very special as far as a menu goes, it's just finger food, picked from their buffet menu. How does this sound... Chicken Tenders, Swedish Meatballs, Lasagne, Potato Salad, Ceasar Salad and a Veggie Platter. Does it sound too cheap? They have other expensive things but I reckon people don't care about the food at that point... they mostly all know each other and will be talking and catching up.Comment

Yes I love coleslaw and any of the pies. But pies are not finger foods..maybe little brownies or yummy cookies that they can eat while mingling. OK just my opinion.Comment

LOL - you guys make me laugh and laugh in reading your stuff, but am I the only guy here recently?
Checkers is a great game but you have to really get "into it" and gain a "feel"for the other player, then the outcome is very rewarding.
I am feeling very well after deciding to not let all this stuff around me get the better of me, my other is a great woman and exceptionally talented in just being there.
With her and you guys all out there how in the world can I loose...
