Zen hubbs was 2 seconds behind me..said he was a gentleman and let me cross first. They have electronic chips in the race number u pin on so it reads when u start and finish. Kewl on that.
Class has to do with visiting folks in the hospital/nursing homes. How to talk and more importantly how to listen. 6 weeks so not sure what all they are going to cover. It is free and put on by a local hospital and I am sure they are hoping we all will volunteer..but I already am but want to broaden what I do.

Off to the outlet mall..my undies are falling apart....

That course sounds really rewarding. And it's good hubbs finished so well! Good luck at the mall... I'm not keen on shopping and can't imagine what it will be like on a Saturday... :egad:

Wow! What great pics!

Check in most days but you guys move so fast I don't always take time to post. Things are going well, not abstaining but not being crazy. Yest was my 1st training day at hospital. They asked if I was familiar with computers. Yes. OMG, that's what this position entails. Cannot imagine if you did not have PC experience. I think I'll like it; was sure more comfortable at 4p than I was at noon. It's checking in people who come in to give blood and look up test results for people who call in after having given blood.

Played golf this a.m. Way too early. Just felt tired. I don't care if it's hot, give me a 10:00 tee time, not 7:57. Ugh!

Hey, Dottie, great job on 5k. I run/walk, last week got up to 4 mi a couple days. Great you have future goal of running it.

Ok, broke fast at 2p with a peach, time to make myself a salad with hb eggs and avocado. Have a great rest of Saturday!

Sorry zenny, was away cleaning the kitchen etc. TBH I am half asleep and wouldn't be very good company at the moment. Didn't get much kip the last couple of nights. I have to go into town shortly (dogging and supermarket) and by the time I get home I will probably only be fit for a snooze on the sofa. Would be more than happy to play tomorrow, if by any chance you're still interested and not too busy.

I will come back and reply to others - but Zen - OMG - I could have cried seeing the pics of the sea - I WANT TO BE THERE SO MUCH !!!!! I miss the sea ....... I miss the sea ..... I will be by the sea in 5 weeks .... oh gosh - my heart HURT to watch it .... I miss it SO much - I forget it when I don't see it - then have those wonderful pics in my face ........:upset::upset: I shall post pics of the sea where I am going so you can see how beautiful it is is too .....

And Jack ..... well, Jack is just too handsome for words !! We used to breed Birmans - did for years - but haven't had any cats (except when daughter moved home and brought them home with her) for a while. - but it made me want a cat again ..... Zen - your pics are NOT good for me. Jack really is just lovely. SUCH a handsome lad !!

Your pics were wonderful -thank you for posting them for those of us without FB.
