    alls glad the course was flat. We only did the 5K. First time and all...may not be able to walk tomorrow.
    We won a gift cert to Natorps at the survivors booth. Dh also got a hat and TShirt. Nice event.

        pauly I am just grateful dh agreed to walk...recently he is interested in exercise...I have been trying for 20 years to get him to exercise...better late than never I guess.

          Hey Dots,

          Saw a lot of "Survivor" shirts during the race and felt inspired that the C word is not a death sentence anymore. Exercise is our friend! The sooner we all realize it the better.
          2023 - focus, getting it done, and living the way it should be and being the person I need to be.

              Allswell's I haven't seen you in a bit!!! You sound good and running right alongside our Dotts! :l

              Sunny, three weeks and counting honey!! :goodjob: also...we have lots and lots and lots of ocean right over in Washington...hint hint....

              The day turned out really great because...Da Dum! I Didn't DRINK!! And no one else did either...it was a lot of fun...how different it would have been hammered ....yuk...

              Home safe and exhausted but everyone still has all their fingers and toes ... Our 2 sets of twins tubing all day....:egad:

                Well, I near enough got caught up on sleep last night, so am feeling a lot brighter today. Hope you got some sleep too, zenny. You must have been running on adrenalin or something.

                  Guten morgen!

                  HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAULY!!! :day5::day4::bday3::bday1::band2: HOPE YOU HAVE A GREAT DAY!!! (Do you have anything planned?)

                  And Pauly... you were right, it wasn't that great. The lobster was better than the steak, should have got the twin tails. I doggy bagged the steak and sent it home with Jim.

                  Reccy... do you think Jack would FIT in my avatar?!!! Good job on the sleep, I be jealous. Went to sleep at 10.30pm, woke up at 2.30am and have been poxy well awake ever since, watching Netflix. This jet lag's getting on my very last nerve. Went over and got a xanax from Jim and took it... hopefully I'll sleep for a good spell (but even 2 hours would be appreciated). I have Louis Vuittons under my eyes.

                  I'm on my last packet of Twiglets (my fave Brit snack, I didn't bring enough back) and thinking of looking for a box of them on Amazon. I bought a box of Gravy Granules on there a while ago Sunny... think it'll take me some time to get through it all.

                  Alls, Dotts, Kradle... exercise is DEFO our friend. I felt great at home from all the hiking we did. Aches and pains disappear when I'm more active. I have scoliosis and really need to keep moving so my back muscles don't tighten up. the gym is unappealing after all the scenic hikes... the thought of the dreadmill is leaving me very unmotivated.

                  Alls... you reckon they are getting on top of cancer treatment now? I lost someone a couple of years back, still gutted. He was a close friend, knew him from when I was 7 or so (on the island) and also part of my family (by marriage). I see so much of him in his son now... ) With all the advances we have made in the last decade or so, hard to believe cancer is still wreaking so much havoc. And diabetes.

                  Dotts... what is Natorps? I just keep asking you questions these days!!!

                  Kradle... I'm glad yesterday worked out well for you. Do you guys get a lot of comments when you go out with 2 sets of twins?! I have twins in my family also, they have a special bond for sure.

                  OK, waiting for sleepy time to kick in. Haven't had more than 4 hours a night since I've been back.... sucks and blows chunks simultaneously. (

                  Hope everyone is on track for a good Sunday. I've made no plans, will wing it today. I'm going to try to buck myself up and get out of this homesickness though... big girls pants need to be dragged out of the drawer. Even Jim is homesick for the place! I wish it wasn't so expensive over there... I could maybe manage a bit more time each year. Oh well...

                            Zen natorps is a local garden store and they gave away a gift cert for $20 and hubbs won. Alls is local so it was a comment I thought she would understand. Sorry....

                            Off to church then lunch out. I figure we burned enough calories yesterday to deserve a lunch out.
