Gym was good then I took down most of the garden. Brought in some green tomatoes and I had carrots...woohoo Carrots are a little deformed so I guess I should plant farther apart. I still have beets and turnips in the ground. I need to see how long I can leave them out. I need to better organize it for next year and do more research on what to plant with what...
Meeting with finance guy tomorrow then a group thing at our friends house.
My doc still has not called with the results of echo...I can see the results in my chart on line but that is not the point. I left yet another message with the office manager. I will keep my next appointment so I can find out about the event monitor results then I am finding yet another doc...or not if this doesn't show anything...what is the matter with docs these days...I have a choice and this just makes me mad...and I will tell her that ...but tone it down ......
Good to see new/old folks popping in. MWO will get back to "normal" I just know it...

Morning! :happy2:
Dots, it's not good enough that the doc still hasn't called you with the echo results. Sorry about your dad getting worse, I guess there's not a lot that can be done to improve matters, sadly.
Sunny, I hope the tests will enable the medics to find out why your mum is breathless. Do they have any thoughts as to what the problem might be? Are you really going to buy a treadmill? Maybe you could walk the dogs on it when the weather is rubbish?!! I know what you mean about wondering whether it would be better if things were worse with your drinking, so that you reached a bottom. It's the same with me, things got bad, but not THAT bad. All this talk about fitbits is making me think I should get one too, but you guys would put me to shame. I am like you, sun, in that I don't like wearing anything on my wrist, does it function just as well on other parts of the body?
Fenny, you have the same versions of Windows and Firefox as me and I'm not having any overlap problems, so there must be a setting somewhere that can be changed. Firefox is less tolerant of badly coded web pages than Internet Explorer though, so maybe you would have better luck with IE? Glad your houseplants survived the move. :happy2:
Pauly, perhaps moving might not be a bad idea if the area you live in is gradually going downhill, but it's such a lot of bother, I am sure fenny would agree. Hope louie appreciates his new deluxe car seat (complete with cupholders!), it's a shame you had to buy a new one though.
K9, welcome back! It can't be nice for you to be facing the possibility of sierra going to live with her father. Perhaps she could alternate between the two of you? My brother and his ex-wife take turns at having the children live with them and it actually works extremely well. Pauly made some sensible observations about your situation, I thought.
Mama, hope you managed to catch up on sleep last night. How long till 'tucky is due to return to work?
Hi to everyone else. :happy2:
I have been immersed in the world of cat food in an attempt to find a better quality food for poppy that is within my budget. It's a complicated subject and there are so many conflicting opinions, but I am beginning to understand now why zenny makes her own cat food. The quality of so many of the popular commercial cat foods out there is just shite!!
Off to make an early lunch. Spaghetti, methinks. Happy Thursday to all. :happy2:

Morning lovies
Tucky is due back the 16th or 17th...wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! It's been so pleasant without her.
Need to get ready for work, but I will check in later.
Dots, you need to raise some hell with your doc. Bri's doctor put her through hell and I thought it was extremely cruel.
I will try to text the hard headed Scottish woman. She needs to be back here with us.
Check in today K9, ok?
It was nice to see everyone popping in to check on you. You are loved.
must jump into shower..love you all
Nora...does Scott not know you post here? Or does he try to read your posts? Bret knows about the site and my friends here, but he would never try to read over my shoulder.
I need a new book, btw. I am finishing "Ove" and I am still not in love with it, but that may change by the time I finish it.I love my family more than alcohol.:h

Good Morning everyone !
K9 - so good to see you back here. I am sad for you re Sierra, that is hard for both of you - I think it is going to be interesting to see how she likes living with her dad though....when she seems him, how long does she usually stay there? Has she actually stayed with them for any length of time? How old is she ?
MB - I thought you said Tucky wasn't coming back to work ..... now I am confused ! And I am so surprised that you are not liking 'Ove' - but of course we all like different things which is just as well really !!! Thanks for the e-mail - will reply later today !! :heartbeat:
Reccy - the Fitbit works well in my pocket - I do not bother with clipping it on to my jeans or anything - just pop it in my pocket usually and it works just fine. Funnily enough my brother now has one as he saw me using mine when I was in UK so he has one too now !! I laughed about the treadmill for the dogs when the weather isn't good - but the place where I take mine for grooming has one in their lobby and they actually put the dogs on it - the people that work there bring their own dogs in to work with them ... and the dogs are trained to walk on it. Maybe I might think about that! I did look at treadmills yesterday and cannot decide what type to get - I thought I had decided then when I went online there were some bad reviews, but wonder, in the grand scheme of things how small a percentage those few bad reviews made up of all the ones bought! Thing is, these days, it is not a cheap buy ..... and I hate putting them together and one can pay extra for delivery and assembly .... they are SO heavy too that I am not sure if hubs and I could move it to the basement !
Re my mum, she said that her doc thinks she might have a heart flutter - she is having an EKG today and blood work tomorrow so we will see - not sure if they will do anything or not if she does, seeing as it is UK and mum is 85. Often they just say to her 'well what can you expect, after all, you ARE 85 .....' !!
I agree with you re cat food - well and dog food too. there was a big thing here some years ago about how awful dog food was and I think a lot of the dog food companies got their act together - we buy our dog food online and have it delivered free and also use some stuff that we buy locally that is in a fridge that is human grade - we use that as a topper along with the kibble and the dogs love it. We are getting another cat in January so will have to sort out cat food again - we used to use a very well known supposedly good brand and it turned out they were one of the worst offenders for their rubbish food. Let us know what you end up doing !!
Hey Kradle - good for you not drinking - neither am I - and I feel so much better for it - only one day so far but had a good nights sleep and feel so good today !! Maybe we can do this together eh ?
LOL Nora - you might be having temps in the 80's ---- although our temps are lovely right they actually - beautiful blue skies and a slight breeze - one needs a cardigan but not a coat later on in the day - I am about to walk the dogs and will wear a coat and gloves as it is only 40 something right now.
Dottie, you could be me talking re your garden - every year I say I need to organize it better the next year!! And I need to get out there and do something with mine too - it is such a mess right now. I picked about 4 lbs. of green peppers yesterday - hadn't realised there were so many of them out there ! I would be so ticked about the doc not calling with the results .... you said that you can see them on line - so do you know them then ?
Pauly - I laughed at the car seat having cup holders - how times have changed !!!! But poor you having to buy another !!
Hi to MHP and NL ......and TMH - great that you haven't been drinking - good for you !!
Nora - laughed at you saying you had been in at 7.00 all week !! I still say to folk that I am will be doing a Nora - and they look at me as if I am crazy!!
Fen - I love it when you lose your Fitbit !! :welldone: But you are STILL way ahead of us !!! LOL
I am off to walk the dog ..... have a great day everyone,
hugs, Sun XXXHow simple it is to see that we can only be happy now and there will never be a time when it is not now....

Sun, my hubs loves his elliptical...it's not as hard on his knees and works his arms too...
Tucky IS coming back, but she will not be here long. Per FMLA, we have to hold her job while she takes six weeks. But, when she returns, the plan is to slowly work on a case to terminate her. Believe me, it won't be hard. My boss and I had a talk and she can tell how much happier I am and she is concerned that Tucky does not represent my company in the way we want to be represented, blah, blah.
Pauly - Clay lasted three days at the crazy car lot and left. The Nut Huggers were letting him work two hours or so and sending him home, so hubs told him to quit. I am not sure if he even got paid....I need to ask.
He filled out an application for something else yesterday. He and his girlfriend drove 2.5 hours to Orlando and went to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios. It's HUGE here. They drove back last night too, so I imagine they will sleep all day.
Hiya Fenny....xo
