It's Hump Day!

I also saw a box of Xmas crackers in the shops yesterday. Time to head for the hills. Thank heavens we don't really do Halloween, although it's catching on.

Used to do a wee bit of trick of treating round the court (we live round a sort of big green)........just the neighbours...........with one of the parent lurking at the back.........got no-one last year........so had a giganto bag of sweets to ourselves:happy2:

But its nearly time for my firework rant.............not only do we have them on Bonfire night............its now weddings, Halloween, Chrimbo, New Year and at the moment some scroats have got their hands on some and letting them off at random...............sending poor old Bess into a frenzy of trying to bury herself under the couch.

I actually might have a look at a thunder shirt.........as I can't fill her with calmy down pills every day...........one addict in the house is enough.

Life at last! When do you start getting up a bit earlier? Or do you get up even later? Too lazy to try to figure it out.

Hate fireworks with a passion! I think all pet owners (the responsible ones) do.

Xmas: like the idea of it - family get-together, all that, but the in-your-face commercialism. Last year's was great: I decided to not be the event planner/manager and left it for the SiLs to do: great fun was had by me.

We don't really get Xmas catalogues - just newspaper inserts full of overpriced shite. Not a family Xmas this year, so not bothering with prezzies. Have things in jars I can give to droppers-inners. Ms Scrooge.

Sorry, one colour only: dirty white. Which is ugly, while antique cream is nice and antique-y looking.
