    mwo book.

      Hi to eveyone new...it is fun to see new names, and I am so glad to hear that some of our ramblings have helped. I am sure you have noticed that we all have alot in common the good and the bad. I hope we all get to know each other better in the future. Buffy

          You know what? You guys have already helped me sooooo much! It is 9:05pm and I have had only 2 beers. I am on day 1 of adrafinil, and I really didn't have to have a drink, but I was afraid of detox... Also, I was reading about how to get started in Chapter 5, and it said to do everything in a planned way. So, I took the dog for a walk, and decided to have a beer or two. The amazing thing is that I feel in control tonight for the first time in ages! Every morning, I would have good intentions. With wine being my drink of choice, I would promise myself to cut back to just 1 bottle that night. I did it a couple of times, but that was it. I always go for the huge double bottle. I would drink it all and pass out --- not remembering anything after 1.5 bottles. Today, I actually made it home without stopping for wine! I am proud of that! Thanks everyone!

                Hi Suzette,

                Welcome to MWO. It's good to hear from so many "lurkers". I was one in the beginning, but gradually got more comfortable. Now I try to post at least once or more a day, b some days I still just lurk and learn. This is a great place!

                  Wow Marcel! Please post, I'm sure you have much to share for us newbies. Congrats on on 2 beers Pink. Please read up on adrafinal before taking it without he rest of the program. I suspect it was will power and inspiration that got you through, not that. Welcome everyone. Great idea Betty.

                    I've been a lurker... there you go I admit it... lately I have been feeling a little overwhelmed by the action and growth of MWO... but I have been ever faithful and visit everyday and see how my other family are going..

                    I'll try and contribute more...

                      Hi All,

                      Greetings from New Zealand - Although I've only been lurking for a few days, I've found what I've read very helpful and very inspirational - I'm AF for 6 days - decided it was the only option this time -
                      So far so good on supplements and lots of rooibos tea (thank you for the tip) -

                      At the moment a fractured wrist (healing now after cast) reminds me every day of the need to go AF. Can only go 'day to day' though - failed too many times before to be confident of anything else. . .

                      Looking forward to chatting to you all in the near future -

                          Been lurking right from the start and seen so many come and go. I do have a problem and need to commit but struggle to do so. Very rarely post but will do so more -thanks for the thread. I gat a lot from knowing I am not alone.

                              betty, you really started something!

                              hopefully all you lurkers get something from this site anyway, but its good to know youre all around. finding this site, posting or not, is a very good start to dealing with our problems.

                              as i said before, it took me over a year before i posted and the welcome was wonderful (not sure they want me now though lol)
