Very frivolous but need help with cat trouble

If your wife feels the need to "breed" more cats, have her go to the animal shelter/spca/humane society to see all that have been bred only to be put to sleep -

Animal instincts are hard to change, and being your male cat is a much needed breeder (due to the obvious shortness of cats in your wife's world), this is what he's been TAUGHT to do, BREED, thus, he thinks this new female is just for that. Protect her...and educate your wife

I wouldn't have chosen a female kitten !! I think that was a bit obvious what would happen?
Cats are sexually mature after 5-7 months so it's normal for them to get jiggy-jiggy.

I adopted twin boy cats and had them both 'done' !
I feel as though it's all happening to someone right next to me.
I'm close, I can feel it, I can hear it, but it isn't really me.

"I did talk with the wifey tonight and she absolutely refused to neuter the male. He is a Champion Breeder. He is not a normal cat. Mau's are very expensive and you breed them."

Tell wifey that I have 13 Champion Breeders (they all think they are anyway, or at least they think they came from a line of them...) and I don't think I know what a "normal" cat is as all of mine are psychotic, and very expensive, and yes, someone thought you should breed them...No offense intended but why are "Mau's" more deserving of life than the strays at the pound that were breed as champions?

I know and agree about spaying animals and all that visiting animal shelters and all that stuff yada yada yada.
But can we all leave hablur alone and "their" decision with "their" cats be?

Halbur asked for advice, I think we should then all be able to give him that, along w/our opinion. Your comment is not conducive to that as I don't think anyone has given him anything but constructive advice. Please allow us to help each other out, w/out someone (such as yourself) stating we haven't the right to express our opinions. This is one of the problems w/this site.

I think this site is very helpful, that we do get to express our opinions, and that we can all be respectful of others. Some subjects do hit others wrong. All of us will not agree. But as long as we can RESPECTFULLY agree to disagree on some things. We will do okay. We can always talk about how we dislike the high price of gas

I'm going to have to take the bus to get a new kitty fixed because of the high price of gas

I agree w/you and don't think that members should interfere w/our comments, especially if you aren't the one that asked for them. You don't have to read them, or comment on them, unless you have something conducive to say. Saying we shouldn't say what's on our minds causes distain. This is supposed to be fun and supportive and as you said, we can agree to disagree but still be respectful. I think we've given Halbur some valuable insite, as well as the opportunity for me to learn about "Mau" cats, though I don't know when they'd be given the opp'ty to run 35 mph in MY world, as all of mine do go outside, but are in cat fence, which is a remarkable invention for keeping them safe!

Hi Joyful, Welcome, I'm glad your here. As I re-read my post I realize how it sounded sarcastic. I'm sorry. Hablur had ended his thread on that part and I admit I am feelin grouchy about something entirely different in my day that has nothing to do about MWO and I cant believe I wrote that. Its not in my character and again I'm sorry. If it bugged Harbur he is perfectly capable of saying so himself.

So again I want to welcome you and hope this doesnt deture you from staying. You are absoultly right about me not needing to comment and hope you accept my apology. It isnt an excuse but I am having a crappy day. I really love to see new people here and cant believe I said that.
So the geeze goes on me and I deserve to be in the penatly box on this one. Someone open the gate.

                    (((Gabby)))

Out of the penalty box! You served your two minutes, now go rough up whoever is causing you to be crabby. If you want, i'll come over and we can loosen his/her teeth. I have never done that but I like new experiences. And that way we'll definitely bond. Or have our teeth bonded!:hitme:

Apology accepted - no worries as my daughter always says (easier said than done!) - I'm glad I'm here too, and we're all gonna have days and/or post things we feel we shouldn't have...I'm glad you recognized a "crabby/crappy day" and that it will get better...at least I keep telling myself that...Thanks for apologizing to a newbie
