              Hello Army folk.
Mr Rags and I started the 5:2 diet this morning......
              but.....
I had a coffee in town, then when I got back home saw it was
              a whopping 230 calories worth!
Mr Rags who is diabetic had his blood sugar sag, so he had to have some sweets.
So, we sit down tonight, have a regular dinner,
work out food for him to eat,
              and we start again tomorrow.

Not sure I could do the 5:2 Raggstar - but from the very little I know about it, is it really appropriate for Mr Rags? Will it not contribute to spikes and dips in blood sugar, or will the food he takes in on the 2 days be enough to prevent dips/spikes?

Can't believe molly's new toy is still in box - I would have played it to tatters by now!

You want me to remember weeks, now, Satzy? Difficult enough to remember what day it is!

                  Oh dear - Ragamuffin:love:
It's quite tough -I've tried it.
My suggestion is to pick busy days for fast and keep the 500 calories for the evening dinner.

I failed due to mind numbing boredom in work .....

                    :
We're going to try and work out something.
                    We're both very very overweight.
The 5:2 has too many side benefits not to give it a good go..

                    Will do some googling too.

                          Hellooo Ragstar.

I failed the 5:2 because I worked out I could have 4 and half Kit-Kats and black coffee all day and that would be 500 calories.........not sure I was taking it seriously.

I ate like a horse..........and stayed a size 10 'til I had Jenz and a new found addiction in Fry's Turkish Delight put masses on.

Cannot survive on diet bars, or any diet, for that matter! The moment I'm on a diet I crave everything - even things I would never eat. So I try to stick to three meals a day, with fruit in between if I feel hungry. But the D word brings out the voracious glutton in me.

New clothes must be washed before I wear them - never could get it how people would buy something and then put it on immediately. Feels yucky - somebody else has probably tried it on before me.
