    I was a fat kid.Fat teenager.
Same overheard comments with mother & aunites- it's puppy fat she'll lose it.
My mother is still OBSESSED with fat & how people look.
She was hiding apple tarts from my sis the other day :harhar:

I dieted myself for first time aged 17 and have been up & down since. Tried EVERYTHING over the years.
5:2 makes total sense to me.
Most of the mindless eating we do is not needed.

Wouldn't dream of washing clothes before wearing. They lose something from the first wash
      - in my head anyway.
      What about shoes ?

Aww you're just getting going on a good convo and I've got to go to work.........

Only diet I've ever done was Slimming World lost masses .........went from a 16/18 to 12 in 6 months............especially good if you like cooking your own food, the rest of the family can eat it with you and you're not addicted to cheese.

        Must away, gorgeousnesses.
It could be worse, I could be filing.
        AF since 7/7/2009

                LMAO...

Maybe I could feed that to Mr RaGS.

i was always skinny to the point of embarrassing. father used to laugh that i should strap the food i ate onto me, it would be more useful. i ate like a horse.

new things, i would keep labels on things, still do. dogs bed has its price tag on still. a riding jacket i bought 150 years ago still has its swing ticket on it.

                      Hello Molly,
Thanks for all the feed back.

I sort of like the idea of kit kats.

We want to try the 5:2 so that we can eat what we normally do the rest of the week.
Am also getting back into a bit of exercise now that my arm has regained a good amount of movement.
No strength in it yet, but I'm exercising it daily to try to get muscle tone back.

OK I have to go cook dinner now, see you all tomorrow.

There's such a lot of conflicting info and research re diets and healthy eating - less input, more output make sense to me. Relatively healthy input, I guess. Michael Pollan's advice still makes the best sense for me: Eat food, not too much, mostly plants. http://www.webmd.com/food-recipes/ne...les-for-eating

Wish I could get in more exercise - thought walking more would happen with Sweetest Puppy, but she mostly knows only the way to the cafe for the morning paper. Must do better there.

Lovely sunny morning here and mild for the time of year. Going to give the grass out front the last cut and tidy up the front tho been sweeping up leaves almost daily. My internet been acting up since yesterday keeps going on and off. Just wondering is to do with the clocks going back? I still can only find a few smilies at the top and the side bar. Do you get more if you are a subscriber? And if anyone has a subscription what is the monthly fee?
