I'm in my torn gardening jeans and have not showered yet - dirty things to be done first before I tidy myself up. Made geranium/pelargonium cuttings by the millions - there's a barish patch in front that could do with some riotousness. Trimmed the rosemary - it's a tall-growing variety, but maybe it'll become a bit more bushy. Cuttings from that as well. Want to get some veg seeds in, paint a couple of things to put to-be-repotted eschevarias in. Hope I've enough potting soil - will make a plan, there's some compost that'll come in handy. Plus house to be made vaguely presentable.

I did not go overboard with Halloween sweets, because there's nothing to go overboard yet. H has not hit the village yet (and I hope it never does). But the shops are full of Xmas things.

Cemetery- visiting in Howth.
We are at year 33 of my mother going weekly to visit my father's grave and keeping it nice with flowers.
She laughs and says she'll haunt us if we don't do the same for her .....
