Autumn in Wisconsin...

Hello, my peeps. As many of you know, I am very fond of the outdoors. My fore-skwerls settled in the beautiful state of WI, so many of my photos will feature scenes from my state.

Here is a photo of the beautiful birch maiden who lives on the same road as my cabin. She always appears so joyous, with her arms outstretched to welcome all! As you can see, she is dressed in her fall finery.

Dottie, when you post, there is an "insert image" icon third from the right on the bottom line of icons at the top of the page. Click on that, and at the bottom right corner is something that says "basic uploader". Click on that, and you will be able to upload photos from your computer.

Happs, do you live near the ocean? It is so beautiful! So is the Jacaranda tree...do you have any critters that live in or near the tree? We have squirrels here, along with raccoons and plenty of wild birds. Lots of tree dwellers!

Fen, we live about an hour from the beach. That pic was taken on our holiday a few weeks back, I took a series of sunrise pics. It was unbelievably beautiful. The light prior to sunrise was amazing.

We get possums here that run off the roof and jump into the tree. They are pretty cute - not like possums around your way, I remember some pics Ruby posted once! And birds, magpies and butcher birds. The pretty ones like some trees out the back. I hope to add to your thread and can't wait to see other peeps pics too x

Wow...only an hour away from all of that gorgeous beach. You are so lucky, Happs.

It looks like your Jacaranda tree is flowering...do the blooms have a scent? What a lovely color the flowers are!

I hear you about 'Possum cuteness, Oz versus U.S. Ours were beaten badly with the proverbial "ugly stick".

I love the sunrise and sunset...the quality of the light of the sun when it is soft and growing or waning...like melted butter on the landscape.
