I am back from the cabin...and I am pleased to report that the baseboard heat has been successfully installed, making my winters there much less labor intensive...

While the young lads were working, I got antsy and went for a walk...here is a tree that has been decorated by mother nature.
Unfortunately, the beautiful string of red is bittersweet, which is an invasive plant. I tear it down when I find it. It's pretty, though.
Here is all that is left on the Sumac shrubs...the red pod can be boiled and made into a tart, lemonade-type tea.Comment

Got to use my new snowshoes today, it was great to be out. We got just under a foot of snow, but we are an hour or so away from those who got over 7 feet.My life is better without alcohol, since 9/1/12. My sobriety tool is the list at permalink 236 on the toolbox thread under monthly abstinance.Comment
