Do it Glassy!!! A hyphen is ALWAYS viewed with much jellyness (jealousness) and favour!

      A hyphen.

Sorry work is sucky. I have a lot of pigeons at my work too.
There's two ways of looking at the holes in your shoes

I know what I'm going to do about the pigeons.

I'm going to insert cable ties so they stick straight up in the air like. into my bike helmet (you know, like, for magpie discouragement purposes) and wear it every day.

Praps it works on pigeons too.

Luckily, my helmet is pink. Otherwise, I would have looked quite odd.........

Can you surround your whole office with them? Or just your desk space if the office is too impractical? And put up a big scarecrow?

              How's tricks lovely Rags?

              Good afternoon there Nicey,
              Well, let's see,
I'm on a day 2 of my 5:2 diet so had a lovely cup of coffee this morning served by Mr Rags.

I had 2 strawberries and half a doz blueberries for lunch, dinner will be flathead with cauli and broccoli.

Going to a bbq on Sat at Wingello and they arst me to make dessert,
so I'm going to do a bread and butter pudding a la Rags (which will go in the cookbook) and some
home made ice cream with a cadbury flake crushed on top. And, and, and, also some
              choccy truffles.
Have dropped about 1.5 kilos in 10 days... that's about what I put on during good food month.
Only another 25 kilos to go.....

I'm asking Santa for a bridge on my lower left 5 to replace the toof that
had to come out in April. Saw my dentist (The best damned dentist in the Southern Hemisphere)
for a marathon 1 3/4 hours this morning for prep work.
              Anaesthetic wearing off at theoment.

Asked the Captain last night to put my name down for next available driving course
so I can drive the BIG RED FIRE TRUCK.

              This one.

AND I'M NOT GOING TO EAT ANY TILL SATURDAY.
                Promise.

You'll have to pronounce it as GLassy -Halfempty,
with the EMphasis on the GLARS and the HARF...
and a pronounced lowered inflection on the
ty as in halfpenny or Girdlestone-Smythe.

Must admit I just choked a bit seeing all those likey-thanks. Looks like it's a done deal then.

                      Glassy what about Bambi North-Half?
Surname to be pronounced Northuff. Could also double as a stripper name.

I think you should ask Santa for a new bowel Nicey.
You know I saw a woman biking along with the cable ties the other day and thought 'there goes another one who thinks she's getting messages direct form on high' I really could not work out what the hell....

So this is the 5:2 diet then Rags?
If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

                        Hello Bridge,
Yes, it is. And we are both going well with it.
                        And I made a mistake.
I've eaten away 2.5 kilos of my fat in the last ten days, not 1.5.
I obviously want the weight loss, but primarily the
huge healthy bits that go along with it...
even though I'm feeling a bit peckish at the moment, it's no drama...
and I've just finished reading a book about POWs in WWII in Sumatra building a railway
on about 300 calories a day per man.
Have you read his book? I'm also watching his red meat programme.
Don't forget Rachel is on tonight.

I like the sound of Northuff.

Hmmm... I think Bambi kind of assumes one has a young, coltish look - all long limbs and high cheek bones. I look more like a Humpty, as Rags, Aspy and Happs will attest. But you're both right - I think I need some silent letters and a rather more upper class pronounciation. I shall hereafter be known as Glllassy Hhallfff-Emfptye (pronounced Glawssy Humpty). Please ensure that if one is drinking tea while reading my posts that one has the pinky extended at exactly 30 degrees.

Also, you'll be pleased to know the conservatory extension is completed and the Hhallfff-Emfptye library is no longer half empty.
