And MIL jokes are universal too.
Have a cruisey day out there everyone, and take good care of yourselves.

Does it take that look to "cook" Rags? I do vaguely remember a Nigella recipe - I'll look it up - where she put the fish in the cistern of the toilet to rinse it repeatedly...

In radiation today...you start off in the main reception then when your name is called you go through to a change room and smaller waiting area. There's people going in all the time, mostly women though. Today I had the company of a gentleman who, whilst he was unbuttoning his shirt and taking off his singlet, let me know he didn't really like to bother using the change cubicles...I was pretty thankful it wasn't his prostate that was being radiated...

Hello Happs,
Howzit?
I bet he had tatts.
Love George the cat.
I did have to wash the Austral pavers pretty thoroughly before I plonked them on the salmon.
It would never occur to me to flush a fish.
In the brigade if you need to cool a burn and water is scarce, you use your helmet and the patients helmet so you
just keep using the same water so perhaps I could do that to a fish.... which now reminds me of that Monty Python sketch.
Here's the beetroot and orange salmon.

The regular salmon with juniper berries and dill...

I've never really liked Chrissy pud or Chrissy cake, so I occassionally make something else.
This year it's pashka.
If any Undies are going to make it, warning, don't use any of the recipes on the net except the Maggie Beer one.
The Taste one is absolute rubbish and the gourmet traveller one isn't much chop either.
I have the Maggie Beer book, but she did it on TV yonks ago and I have the dvd somewhere, or
maybe it's doing time as a bird scarer in the veggie patch.
It is absolutely delicious.
As well as putting it in muslin (or a chux... preferably unused) put it in a colander or something to
drain. I've popped mine in my cheese strainer.

Now, how many Undies can I expect for dinner Saturday?
How many more sessions of radiation Happs?
My SIL has a cancer on her larynx (A HEAVY SMOKER) and can only have radiation therapy once,
as there's a big risk of necrosis if you do it again. In all likelihood she's facing a laryngectomy.

You've all probably seen it, but gee it's clever.
