Lizanne - I am always telling people not to worry - that it does no good, but I remember reading somewhere that 98% of the things that people worry about NEVER happen - so obviously worrying works !!! Obviously that is VERY tongue in cheek - because I do not see the point in worrying .... and try not to - but that comment made me laugh!! Glad that they sorted it for you at work .....

I actually took a lunch today. I NEVER do that. I wandered into the nail salon near by and asked for a manicure. I didn't know that included a back, shoulder, neck and arm massage. I was in heaven!!!!

Hi Everyone, I'm here! Quick check in to let you know I am home from the hospital. The surgery was 6 hours and very painful. Muscles in chest were cut so it hurts to move hands, type, etc.
I get pathology reports next week, hopefully they got everything out. They took extra nodes out just in case.
Sure as hell don't feel like drinking so there's a plus! I miss you guys xoxo

glad to see you Nursie!! We have all been worrying about you. Just settled in with a left over baked potato and gonna chill. It's Friday night and all my boys are gone. But my two cats are staring at me and wanting dinner.

Good Morning from VERY chilly here !!! 16 degrees again .... it is too early to have these sorts of temps yet! Hope this isn't the indication of the sort of winter we are going to have ... last years was bad enough - I lost so many plants that usually survive the winters here.

Anyway - not much planned for today - going to write to my mum and then I MIGHT get started on the painting of the room upstairs that I actually prepared two months ago - LOL I really need to start it - my eldest daughter is coming in a month and might need it - not sure if she is staying with us or her M-I-L yet - M-I-L has all the necessary baby stuff at her house ....

Anyway - just thought I would check in - have a great Saturday everyone XXX

Off to the adoption event I think..dh and I had a huge fight last night about what I am not even sure...he wants to take a trip in the RV and I hate the RV and his driving is getting worse and worse...he got out of the car the other day and it was still running...I want a vacation where folks take me where I want to go and feed me....the RV is a money pit too....AND this morning he wants to keep the dog....I am so confused....aaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Dottie - I am sorry but I had to laugh - you and dh are SO much like me and dh !!!! His driving is the pits - in fact I usually drive now when we go out - he drives 5 mph under the speed limit (yes he is one of those !!) and keeps braking 'cos he thinks someone is going to pull out in front of him - drives me crazy!!

I do not know what to say about the rescue - I think 5 dogs is too many - but I think 3 is too many - I was happy with two. Last night hubs pulled the third one up on the bed - usually the two smaller ones sleep on the bed but the 3rd one is BIG and for some reason, he cannot jump up - the other two do - I waited until hubs was asleep then put the big one down - the other two had already jumped down 'cos the 3rd one was up there!

AND hubs wants to get an RV - there is no way on this good earth that I would EVER go anywhere in an RV - partly 'cos I am a homebody and partly 'cos of hubs driving ! He wanted to get one and I kept vetoing it !! I have told him that if he wants to take a road trip on his own, I will keep an eye on home and the dogs .....

Sorry - shouldn't laugh but there for the Grace of God go I !!!!
