Quick reply - appt went fine but then it always does - I would be surprised if it didn't - my oncologist is leaving to go to CA so I am quite upset - I have (obviously) had him since I was DX - it was quite sad this morning !!

the grand jury is back with a verdict in the Michael Brown case in Ferguson - it is just up the road from me - everyone is so worried - the police are out in force - our workplace has said that if we do not want to go in we do not have to if we do not feel safe going out .... they are giving the verdict out at 8.00 tonight and I am so ticked - DWTS is on tonight at 8.00 and it will not be on now !!!! I know that most of you will think that I should think that this is more important - but this should not be on EVERY local channel !!!!! Plus once they tell us the verdict that should be it but it will be milked and will be the entire evening ......DWTS is at the end - and I am going to miss it ...... I know - call me shallow ..... darn it ......but what the heck - it isn't as if I am going to go out is it ????

Oh - and I work with a girl who will NOT drink because she gets all slutty when she drinks ...... and she hates sex and knows that her hubs knows that if she drinks he will get lucky ..... LOL so she just NEVER drinks even though she would like to have a drink now and then .....

Got all my errands run today except for a few things we will go tomorrow.
sun I would be unhappy too...I think DWTS is a 2 night event this week so u might be able to see it tomorrow.
Now all the holiday shows so I am glad I have a DVR with things to watch. Stock up for the dry spell between now and January some time.

Good news Sun. I am anxious about the verdict and what may happen. We just went through the Michael Dunn case here and the white man was found guilty of murder and I agreed with it. There was no rioting or drama. Be safe Sun. Can you watch DWTS on line??
I cooked fresh chili and promptly dumped a whole bowl of it on the floor....damn it!!

sun that is a real mess and we have had similar things here in our town.....
Hope u can watch DWTS it is really good tonight...and Major crimes in on TNT so am recording that....
I really want to get back to dancing with dh.... 2015 is our year!!!
His grandson is working toward an eagle scout....if he gets it he wants us to drive the RV to Colorado for the event...This wont be until spring of next year, I think I will suggest he fly out without me and I will tend to the dogs....and I will give his son a heads up that he MUST pick him up at the airport and he MUST stay with them.....less stress on me...

It really is quite scary - malls are closed and a lot of quick trips are closed too due to one being burned down in August when there was rioting when all of this happened originally - loads of school closings already for tomorrow .. and they haven't even announced the verdict yet !!!

I didn't know Major Crimes was back on Dottie - I hope my DVR is recording it .....and I just checked and the channel that DWTS is on, is NOT covering the Michael Brown stuff YEAH !!! I much prefer to watch it later and zoom through the ads ....I am so happy that it is recording ......

I find it really quite scary though that this is causing such unrest - I cannot see a good outcome to it at all ......

Am in the middle of a bad nose bleed again and have a tampon stuffed up my nose - sorry any chaps reading .... LOL. I do think I am going to have to go to the ENT chap and have this cauterized ....

MB - oh no - hopefully where you dumped the chili was not on carpet ?

sun AL is an anticoagulant to so maybe the AL is not helping the nose bleeds....and there are greens that act to clot the blood like kale and any green with vitamin K....I had the cauterization and I would NOT want my worst enemy to do it....look to holistic things first...just my opinion...

Michael Brown in the young African American killed by the police. Last night the grad jury said the cop was justified in the shooting. It has been simmering for months in St. Louis with riots, looting, etc.

Thanks Dots for the advice re the nose bleeding and when did you have yours cauterized? How long ago? I know that things have supposedly changed but as I said a few posts ago, I have read some horror stories on line about it, but this is really getting old ......

Hey all,yeah i remeber that guy now,they're having the cops here wear body cameras now which i think is awesome,that way there's actual proof instead of he said,she said b.s,the worst was when that George Zimmerman guy killed that kid in FL i think?he was a trigger happy bastard cuz after he got off on that he started pulling guns on other people,ugh woke up with anxiety again,thinking it's p.m.s,wish i didn't have to deal with this crap,makes me want to drink everytime,gotta find a way to push through without feeling nuts,i used to take wid yam/vitex together and it smoothed me out,may look into that again,off to get ready hope everbody has a good Tuesday

Sunni - I am sorry about the nosebleeds but the tampon up the nose did make me laugh :eek-new: Sierra used to have horrible nosebleeds when she was little, they were kind of scary because it looked like huge clumps. My brother in law at the time is a firefighter and he said not to worry what comes out, the blood just kind of coagulates and comes out all at once (we even saved him a sample to examine once...lol). Still it was gross. Ugh, hope nobody is eating breakfast right now....sorry! Also, congrats on 2 days AF!!! Way to go!!! :yay:
Mama and Pauly - now I am craving chili! I need to get something in my crock pot. Just cuz I am alone doesn't mean I can't make a good meal now and then....hmmm, maybe tonight I will throw some stuff together.
I am sorta dreading the 4 days off, but not really. I will try to keep myself busy, lord knows the house could use a good cleaning. All I know is I am NOT going into any stores!!
I didn't hear the Michael Brown verdict until this morning, but I figured I could predict the outcome. The sad part is that the "protesters" are only ruining their OWN neighborhoods....like little kids having a temper tantrum.
Anywhoo...guess I'll pretend to work for a while...back later peeps!

Morning all,
sun I had nosebleeds as a kid and that was when I had it done and I will never to that again....hopefully the procedure has progressed since then.
Going to visit dad today then Costco and a few other places. The sun is out but it is cold....bbbbbrrrrr
mama we went to hard surface flooring a few years ago and I am so glad we did. Between the dogs and me the floor is so much easier to clean.
