god im so thick sometimes. i thought you meant he did a walking tour around ireland, or europe, or the world. i was trying to work out what this had to do with him. i got it. eventually.

I had NO problem not drinking --- even at my worst stage I could just not drink for a few weeks ---- but once I had ONE....... that was it till I 'fell asleep'.......

I was kinda different for a long time. Never actually stopped for weeks like that.
Was too easy 'round here to drink. No one really said much.
Towards the end it got SO easy I could drink everyday after work 'till dinner was ready or a few glasses at home after a night out.
I had to stop myself 'cos I KNEW it was just not right.
I went back once or twice for occasions but the perceived 'enjoyment' was gone and HATED the aftermath.
The game was REALLY up in Australia Christmas '12 that they could see it - but I had already stopped daily drinking at that stage but couldn't BEAR being watched while out too.

Just thinking I have NEVER had those sneaky drinks in my new kit hen - imagine. That will be in 3 years in around July time. :egad:

Afternoon army turned out nice and sunny here might get out for a walk. Just hung some washing out.

No power for many an hour. National electricity supplier can't/won't do their job, so we have load shedding. Fine. Checked the schedule. Fine. Nothing this weekend. Fine. Noon, no power. Not so fine. Came on just now. I decided to do a bit of tidying seeing that I couldn't work. Had a nana nap instead. Maybe two ant-histamines in the middle of the day was not such a bright idea.

Anyway, I'll be at the local art and wine thingy later this evening, then Mr Nice Lobster can rub the bump again.

Love the idea of a boozeless kit hen, Satz.

Oh I need Mr nice here big time sigh:sad: Didn't get out for a walk got a bity lazy but ended up sweeping up leaves out side the front of the house and tidying up flower tubs and containers. Another exciting Saturday here.
