It wasn't a bad week, but I'm glad Saturday will be popping in for a short visit.

Morning Mollstar! And the problem with missing glasses is that you're blind without them and so can't see where they are - silly. It's high time you get your lot involved (I would have had them peeling spuds from about the age of two. But I've no maternal feelings.)

Speaking of: there's a video clip doing the rounds of a nanny in Uganda abusing the toddler she was supposed to care for. Horrific - do not go there.

My mum did the same thing - until we started taking things off her hands. And of course they'll help: but you'll have to tell them what to do. And not in a general way: task to a person. Delegate, Molly, delegate. Sorry, telling you things you know.

And yes, about knowing the person - thought I'd be as nice as I can about it.

We've a house here that has Xmas decorations in the window all year round. I've a little wire baobab tree, that gets decorated with tiny beaded ornaments - verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry African - and that's the extent of my Chrissie decorations.

Terribly bad at funerals - avoid except for family and people really close to me.

Starving here, but too lazy to make something to eat. Had a cinnamon and sugar pancake from the old-age home ladies earlier this morning. And a vit B shot. I'm also the official owner of low blood pressure. Shot and blood pressure not from the OAHL, though.

Just heard from Mr Nice: he and three friends are off to the Karoo - one of them has just bought a farm there. I think packing for the weekend involved clean undies and a tooth brush. So: a weekend to myself - what bliss!

And it also means I'm thinking of opening Skiverville earlier than usual.

Afternoon army the sleep fairy deserted me last night so I was awake from 2.30 till 7am. I tried reading to get back asleep so sometime after 7am I slept till after 10. Lovely table decoration Dreamy I love candles. have to pop out to local Tesco and post office shortly but need a shower and lunch first. Sorry bout the car Jc I hope it not a big job and doesn't cost too much.
